It was jarring the first time it did it...caught me off guard. I didn't think it could slip past drive and back into neutral, even though it didn't lock into the neutral slot...it still did it.

I wasn't pushing up hard, it stopped at drive, but it hit the edge of neutral enough to shift into it. Like there is some slop in the indentation. I don't know what else to tell you....

1) correct 2) also correct, but if you push the shifter forward enough from manual back into drive, it can go partway into the neutral slot...enough to send the trans into neutral. And no, I didn't have the lever pressed in. Don't tell me my car is the only one that can do that?!? 😳

Remote rev is to hear the exhaust outside the car, so you are saying the enhancement is BS or.....I'm just confused what you are saying is BS. The procedure just states the exhaust goes into track mode in remote rev for maximum giggles.

Though my infotainment screen doesn't bother me as near as much as I had thought it would, I miss knobs for AC/Heat adjustments. They blame phones for distracted driving, but then put a friggin ipad on the dash and I now have sub menus to navigate just to do turn the AC up.

Ok they said they performed the recall. The recall includes removing the BCM and inspecting it. They should have found the corrosion then, so either they are lying or did the inspection with their eyes closed. if they truly performed the recall as claimed in that sheet, you would see black...

There is a thread here that posted the 14 page official manual Ford issued on how to "fix" the issue. It sounds to me that Ford just can't source replacement BCM's. They'd rather put them in new cars and make that money.

You purchased a used car from a Ford Dealership on Oct. 1 when the recall was officially issued at that point. So they knowingly sold you a car with an open recall that wasn't fixed before they sold it. They figured they would get it sold and then it's your problem. Demand your money back...

Know that 20" wheels come with a metal cowl brace from the factory regardless of performance pack option. My ride is fine but I guess the stiffer tire puts more flex on the chassis.

Yes it's very possible, but be careful shifting back into Auto from Manual while driving. The shift selector has some slop to it, and if you can accidentally move the gear selector into neutral. It doesn't lock into neutral, but it does hit the edge of it...enough to scare the crap out of you...

I just hate appointments and since every dealer seems to do it differently with different methods and time frames, it just seems like a BS bandage fix.
