I beleive these numbers are for a battery at rest. Start with locking your car and don't touch it for 8 hours. Supposedly that resets the battery management system. If it still shows 12v after being on the tender, it's on it's way out I think.

Almost 12v is low. Battery maintainers seem a PIA but are a necessity with modern cars if you want optimal battery health.

I get it....you're not going to get much recourse from a one man shop. Either he is ignorant or just some passive/aggressive shit going on. You really have to go out of your way to screw up an interior that bad. That's why I will always go to chain shops so I actually have someone to complain...

Man...that sucks. if you went to an independent shop maybe you are SOL, but if the guy has a boss or it's a larger shop, you should have been able to get some compensation for the damage. Or did you just say screw it and cut your losses? If so...I get it.

Sometimes CS is scripted and sometimes it completely depends on who responds/picks up the phone, and what mood they are in that day. I hope your re-install goes better with your new parts. 🙂
