  1. Hands on steering wheel warning

Its a European thing. American cars can turn it off anytime.
  2. Hands on steering wheel warning

As mentioned, the steering sensor goes off of weight. You can't cup the wheel from the bottom or it will alert you. On the subject. Why am I the only one who is disturbed that people are bitching about keeping both hands on the wheel while your car literally steers itself? Have we really gotten...
  3. Hands on steering wheel warning

Heaven forbid your car makes you keep your hands on the wheel while your car steers itself. 🤦🏻
  4. Hands on steering wheel warning

I believe it has to do with weight on the steering wheel not movement. You can't lightly touch the wheel or hold it from the bottom.
  5. I checked for magnets…

Just replace the wheel. But the question is, how was it bent and for how long?

  7. Steeda claims it, is it real world?

Not if you start with a GT PP (which has magnaride and extra cooling). Its pretty Apples to apples to me. Especially if they both have the A10. Anyone can put wheels and tires on a car.
  8. Any truth to this 2027 BOSS rumor?

Im not sure Id consider that a 'hypercar". And I would substitute "reasonably priced" with "appropriately priced".
  9. Ford Recalls

Did they do the sealant or just inspection?
  10. Buyer with too many options...

I hear you. Though I wouldn't call the GT350 a parts bin GT. A friend of mine has a '13 Boss that he let me drive. While not good as the Mach 1 I had at the time, it was a nice car. Im just not sure Id want to spend that 35-40k on a solid rear axel track car with a Getrag.

  12. Steeda claims it, is it real world?

Well, there isnt a 20k difference. At least not from an optioned out GT PP. Especially now with all the deals to be had.
  13. Exhaust Tip on DH Driver Side Looks Misaligned

There are two separate issues. One - the tips themselves are welded poorly and often not symmetrical from the factory. Two - when you disconnect the axle back portion of the exhaust to do a mod-pipe, the weight of the muffler causes the whole thing to rotate and sag. Many shops do this too...
  14. Steeda claims it, is it real world?

Thats really disappointing. No wonder so many DH owners get salty when this comes up. I still maintain the only reason to get a DH is for the Tremec.
  15. Steeda claims it, is it real world?

Ford put a We've already established the DH DOES NOT have forged pistons. Read above.
  16. Exhaust Tip on DH Driver Side Looks Misaligned

They are welded on. Not at easy fix for the dealer. The tips are poorly lined up and welded from the factory.
  17. Steeda claims it, is it real world?

Yes. But I think all gen 4 coyotes have forged cranks IIRC.
  18. Steeda claims it, is it real world?

Forged internals is always the go-to defense of the Dark Horse owner. Unfortunately these people are relying on a lot of misinformation from the internet. As far as I know, only the connecting rods are forged. And it seems that is even open for debate based on the above video.
  19. Steeda claims it, is it real world?

Lost in all this is that the non-active exhaust stock GT made 3 less HP than the stock DH. Im beginning to think Ford fudged some numbers in order to justify the price tag.
  20. Wrench light resulting in limp mode - At dealer twice now almost 30 days cummulative

Agreed. This really doesn't sound like it should be a complicated issue to diagnose. I can't get my head around a months worth of troubleshooting. Every anomaly is recorded and stored in the computer. Surely they must be waiting on parts or something. I would call and talk to the store manager...
