The drive shaft clunking seems to only happen on cars with the Torsen rear ends. So PP and DH cars. I have not heard of anyone with the standard limited slip rear end having this problem. I suspect the output shafts are different, and Im a little surprised they're replacing the whole transmission.
Lets be real clear on this. This result was from the massive tool behind the wheel, not the lack of a front camera. Ive been driving Camaros and Mustangs for 30 years and never once came close to that level of retardation.
Yes, a front facing camera would be great and im all for a reasonably...
$1250? No thanks. It would be nice to have a front facing camera but not that bad. Its a good thing I haven't forgotten how to park a car without multiple camera and nannies helping me. 🤪
No. It only records while the car is running. But I believe you can hardwire it so it records all the time. But the drain on the battery and hacking wires does not appeal to me.
Multiple people have reported leaking struts unfortunately. There is also a known clunk caused by the output shaft on PP and DH cars. They are NOT the same noise.
But im confused by your post. You say leaking struts and new transmission. One has nothing to do with the other. Is Ford saying...
Maybe. Maybe not. Farley himself said they wanted to look to the future and not the past. And that Dark Horse would be tied to anything Ford performance. I dont think it had anything to do with Ford marketing, but rather Farleys ignorance.
Because its tradition. Its an American muscle car. I wouldn't expect a European to understand. Not to mention you would agrue with me over the color of shit if I brought it up. So I wont continue to engage.
Its horrible branding. The name is stupid and confusing. But Chris errr Jim Farley is obsessed with shitting on tradition and naming everything Dark Horse blah blah. And for the record Dark Horse Boss would have been equally stupid. They should have just called it Boss or Boss SC.
