It's debatable if modern engines even need to be broken in anymore with how robust they are. But I break my in just in-case. Varying engine RPMs and speed for the first thousand miles or so. Just don't stress the engine too hard by revving past like 4-5k.

Some valid points, but a street version of the 5.4, aggressive areo, and chassis improvements would definitely go along way. I don't think anyone expects a street version to be in par with a gt3 car. But it would make a heck of a gt350 replacement.

Exactly, plus everyone is operating under the assumption a cd6 based mustang would have been a better performance car when all the insider info says the opposite. It would have been bigger and heavier according to them. Better to build on an already solid platform than try to develop something...

The 6th gen Camaro was identical to the 5th gen visually from most angles. It was virtually impossible to tell the cars apart from the rear and side. The s650 might have the overall profile similar to the s550. But it's details make it very easy to tell the cars apart imo.

I'm a huge fan of 20s on mustangs. I believe the rims in this pic are 20s, and they're my favorite s550 factory wheels based on appearance alone. But 21-24s are definitely overkill.

Yeah, I agree with some of your points on the rear. I did a more zoomed out sketch for it. Moved the taillights down, gave them a horizontal design element that lines up with a contrasting black strip on the decklid. Removed the upper angled portion of the taillights, and redesigned the lower...

We're obviously 3-5 years away from seeing a s650 refresh. But this might be the perfect time to ask this question, as ford's almost certainly starting to work on it, or will be in the near future, and may look to the forums to see what fans want. Personally, I would like some new headlights...

The overhangs look pretty good here. The side also has more character lines than the s550. The two lines cutting down the side just don't have the undercut the lines on the s550 have.

Just the thought is giving me anxiety, talk about the team from hell 😆. To be fair, some of Bangle's designs are ok, much better than whatever BMW designers are putting out today, but still kinda strange. The bange butt 5 series is just... well it's something.

Next to Zagato, Sketch is probably the most consistent designer I've seen when it comes to screwing up good looking designs with his influence. Literally everything about this thing is worse than the original.
