That's the "rim protector"

See if they will give you a matching set or order you a tire without it (if they even can)
What would people think if Ford pulled a Dodge and did a 5,000lb electric AWD mustang? Looks similar to the current car, roughly the same size, fake exhaust noises and all.
It's been talked about more in other threads. Basically you would have to trick the car into thinking the S550 ECU is the S650 ECU, everything has to be signed blah blah
Nobody's done it yet so that says a lot
It's almost as bad as when people try to discuss low sales and you get the same people denying it and making excuses and saying "well I enjoyed paying for mine!"
Great...but that's not the topic of the thread
Or when a tuning thread comes up and numerous people say "the stock car has plenty...
Who said they hate Ford? And what list? Don't put words in my mouth.

At least in 2022, the last time there was the 'worst sales in history', Covid and the Challenger and Camaro were around and could shoulder some of the blame.
Quite a few of those cars have positive growth, though
And none of them sell in the volume that the Mustang was a few years ago
It's not that they aren't selling more than others, they are just selling half of what they did just a few years ago
Remember the Mustang is the only car being made...
These days gasoline is all E10 so the computer is actually going to target something like 14.1
And that goes along with timing so you rarely see that exact value (which isn't always targeted anyway). And the OEM is going to be doing things for power/fuel economy.
