I would be changing the oil before 6,000 miles if you drive it hard at all
You don't need oil pump gears or bigger radiator either
Gas mileage shouldn't be much different than stock in normal driving
People who want a brand new car, or an electric car
It looks like you can get a new Scat Pack EV in the $60's with the right discounts. Are GT500's that cheap anywhere?
Now that's the real question
It doesn't matter what the other car is: electric, 6 cylinder, 4 cylinder, turbo, AWD, FWD, foreign, domestic, it's all the same when they are waving while walking away from you and all you can do is hold the pedal to the floor.
You run what you brung and hope that you brung enough.
It's a good mix
1/4 mile from a dead stop
Braking
One big turn (both cars managed 1.2g on)
1/4 mile from a roll
Both cars beat the Hellcat Black Ghost or whatever it was called.
So we are forgetting that it also has an 1800 pound weight disadvantage as well as not being on anywhere near as good of tires as the dark horse?
And again, ignore the second run and look at the actual performance difference between both cars best run.
One guy is a better driver than the other...
Take the best run of each car, the Dark Horse was slower by almost a full second. They show that at the end of the video.
