  1. S650 Mustang V8 to Get Ford Performance Calibrations (Tune)

Removing them from the double intakes doesn't give the gains as it did on a single intake. You could probably put a sock over each and still flow enough air to make 500hp
  2. Motoroil experts here? Motorcraft 5W30 vs Castrol 0W30 DIESEL engine oil

Is it a "diesel" oil like Shell Rotella or is it an oil that meets standards for both gas and diesel? Diesels are a lot more common in Europe (especially for cars) A traditional "diesel" oil is thicker than 0W-30, has a lot of zinc/zddp, and more detergents to combat all the soot etc you get...
  3. Any news on tuning?

Cobra Jet would be the one you'd want to swap for
  4. Any news on tuning?

Sure. But what good does this do anyone who wants to add cams, different intake manifold, a turbo, etc? Nothing. It's going to be some lame package that comes with a cold air intake.
  5. Any news on tuning?

It's really not. Besides Roush and Whipple have had tunes out since last year.
  6. Any news on tuning?

Not really helpful for people who want to tune the car for aftermarket parts.
  7. S650 Mustang V8 to Get Ford Performance Calibrations (Tune)

No way will you get 30hp out of this tune with how agressive the S650 already is, unless you cherry pick some random part of the graph
  8. Mustang Sales

So how much profit do you think they are making off each car sold if they doubled the previous number? The Mustang is not a low-volume car that they can milk like that. They are losing their asses right now on warranty and quality issues so I wouldn't really say they know what they are doing.
  9. S650 Mustang V8 to Get Ford Performance Calibrations (Tune)

Generic tune. No mods specifically supported unless it comes with them in the kit. In the past a throttle body and air intake were included...
  10. Mustang Sales

You could get $2,000 off this month, they are trying to get rid of those 2024's that are still on the lots. Oh noes our profits! https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/2k-ford-retail-customer-cash-rebate.212874/
  11. Mustang Sales

I never said that. That's what everyone else used for the reason the price increased. Now some people are saying it's just their plan to raise the price to make more money. So you're saying Ford is making the same or more profit selling 40k Mustangs, than they were when they sold 80-100k?
  12. Mustang Sales

OK, show me the numbers since you know everything I thought all of the price increases were because of raw material cost increasing during Covid new labor contract, and the cost of everything just going up? How much do you think they are really making on each Mustang especially on the lower...
  13. Mustang Sales

Ahhh so the low sales is what they wanted Gotcha
  14. Whipple Vs. Pro Charger Supercharger.

The previous Ford supercharger was a Roush which had heat issues
  15. Mustang Sales

Vehicles and parts. However, USMCA-compliant parts are exempt
  16. Mustang Sales

True, but he did say 'Dearborn'
  17. Mustang Sales

A little farther than 5 miles Remember it was closed before the Coyote was started for a couple years. Can they start the Romeo engine plant back up?
  18. New 2024+ 2.3 motor issues?

Are any of the newer 4 cylinder turbos 'bullet proof'? I know the ones GM uses suck and not a day goes by without hearing an EB nightmare...
  19. Mustang Sales

Congratulations? They don't even make the 3 out of the 5 best selling sports cars from the year before (Camaro, Charger, Challenger), and the Corvette was a very, very close second)
  20. Mustang Sales

Not true BMW stated at the beginning of the year that the M2 rose by 64% in 2024 compared to the previous year But another member said because they still sell less M2's than Mustang's, it doesn't count.
