you wont really be able to tell a difference between the two until you drive a Magneride equipped car then drive another version of that same car without Magneride. theres a reason why Chevy adds it to their top end cars and from what ive seen from the likes of TDIB, Magneride is very noticeable...
my thoughts:
* definitely an overall improvement over the S550, some areas clearly need work to better performance, but its also a car marketed to the mass audience so i can understand those issues
* Grabber Blue was definitely the right color choice for me
* Recaros still look like way too much...
thats my biggest thing about the bronze pack that i didnt like, but i still went with bronze over the np because i really dont like the black roof. so ill probably get the black headlights aftermarket too lol
enough is enough when you feel like it is. end of the day nothing is really "required" here, if you can afford it and want it, then go for it, if you cant but want a better ride later on there are numerous options in the aftermarket. me personally, i know i can afford it, and ive heard good...
I guess thats the difference between a car that had been in production for over a year vs one that only started production in May. People expecting anything within two months of the production start are really only setting themselves up for disappointment
I've always operated under the assumption that late August would be when I saw my car at the earliest. My dealer straight up said "expect 18 weeks minimum before the car gets shipped, then expect another 10 days for us to get it and prep it for you" when I ordered back in March. Which had my...
I can see all the anime dash clusters now...
Fr though I would love to see custom dash clusters, add just that little bit more of personalization to the car.
The steering isnt the issue, everyone says the car steers better than the 550, the issue is the road feel isn't meeting their expectations they aren't getting the feedback they want from the system.
Obviously take every review with a grain of salt, what they feel might not reflect what you feel. Me personally I'm coming from a live axle 4.6l from 2010, so it's pretty much a completely different world for me lol.
its interesting to see Vaughn talk about the steering being improved. the Throttle House guys said almost the opposite. im wondering if its a difference between base and premium or if its just driver feel considering how many supercars and luxury SUVs they drive.
regarding the RTR parts: do...
i wouldnt hold my breath for a DH video this week, everything we've seen from LA so far has been Ecoboost and GTs only. DHs media drive was a while ago.
yeah, i was referring to shape wise.
pretty much nothing is actually shared between race cars and road cars. at most itll be things like engine blocks (C8 GT3.R has the engine from the Z06, Mustang GT3 and Gen3 Supercar have a coyote block). but actual panels and a lot of actual parts are all...
the mustang in my pfp has NH oil undercoating, i got it about 4-ish years ago, unfortunately my mufflers didnt get the coating treatment. 4 years on and the underside is just as black as when the spray got put on...my mufflers have a rust hole due to road salt from New England winter driving. i...
yes and no
generally the answer will be yes, higher performance suspension compromises comfort alot as their primary job shifts from softening bumps to keeping the tires on the road. there are some ways to get a decent balance of the two(magneride/Air ride) but they come at a premium vs other...
