  1. First 2024 Mustang orders being shipped to dealers now!

okay, thanks for calling yourself old on the internet, that wasnt really needed here. since you cant seem to understand the most basic of metaphorical comparisons im just going to ignore this brick wall in favor of people who like to engage in actual thought.
  2. First 2024 Mustang orders being shipped to dealers now!

youre comparing apples to oranges here, GAP and EB sell DIRECTLY to you, the customer. lets compare it this way: you buy a new pair of jeans off of Amazon.com, AMAZON is telling you they will be there on the 15th, its now the 20th, do you complain to the person selling the jeans or too amazon...
  3. 10 Speed Automatic feedback?

okay so, heres your logical fallacy why are you downshifting on a road if not to accelerate? youve either already made the decision to accelerate, or youre an asshole who likes to hear their V8 at high revs for some reason. ill assume its not the later and that youve decided that you will be...
  4. First 2024 Mustang orders being shipped to dealers now!

because you cant delay a day that was never given, ETAs are subjective info that 9 times out of 10 exist only to get someone on the other end to shut the hell up about it.
  5. 10 Speed Automatic feedback?

i can tell you right now thats 100% placebo the reason it feels off is because the trigger for the A10 is you pressing the gas vs you pressing the clutch in the M6, if you compare them side by side the time it takes you to press the cluctch, move the stick from 6 to 4, and depress the cluch thus...
  6. First 2024 Mustang orders being shipped to dealers now!

in fairness, Ford is giving information to their customers regarding these cars, its just that their customers are dealerships, not you, you arent buying a car from ford, youre telling the dealership if they order that exact spec, youll buy their allocation off them.
  7. What options did you get and why? No ETA talk allowed on this thread

Ordered: GT premium 401a, grabber blue w/ black and red stripes, space gray interior, PP, bronze pack, A10, magneride, active valve. 401a: planning on keeping this car long term so I wanted all the bells and whistles Grabber blue w/ stripe: wanted a bright color with some decent accents...
  8. What are your thoughts on the interior of the S650? Specifically the screens

imma be real here, i never really liked the looks of the S550. Dont get me wrong, its not a bad car design, but its not a Mustang design, it looked more like a European style sportscar went on a McDonalds diet and wrapped itself around a coyote. to me the S650 is ford putting the 'Mustang' back...
  9. Ford Mustang V8 will be offered for as long as possible

i dont account for government incentives due mainly to the fact that oil and gas is way more subsidized than renewables are so to me, a simple push in the other direction was enough for the market to adopt a new approach to an age old idea.
  10. Official VAPOR BLUE Mustang S650 Thread

some may call that a bad parking job me i say its a succesfull test of front end ground clearance
  11. Dark Horse garage wall art

looks great, i like the fading they did with it. btw if anyone is looking you can find that here: https://displate.com/displate/6507788?ref=1617 im also kind of liking the look of the black/white one: https://displate.com/displate/6014409?ref=1636
  12. Gen 4 coyote odd things to note

i mean, the GT350, GT350R, GT350 GT4, Dark Horse, Dark Horse R, GT4, and GT3 should be enough to tell you what ford is wanting out of the S550/650, and it aint a drag car. i do wonder if its a soft limiter or just an optimal shift point marker though? if it were a marker it would make sense to...
  13. SavageGeese Dark Horse Mustang Review

i mean, theyre called the "forgotten generation" for a reason
  14. SavageGeese Dark Horse Mustang Review

Ford moving away from the boomers makes perfect sense imo, theyre in their 60s and 70s, have mostly retired and already have their "forever cars" Ford might as well be throwing money into a fire if they were to focus on them.
  15. 2024 Mustang GT/EcoBoost Performance Track Testing: 0-60 MPH, 1/4 Mile, Braking & Skid Pad

kind of a shame that its both a heavy uptick and price and priced in line with current inflation. Really a lose/lose here, either raise the price a lot and make consumers mad or dont raise the price as much and start losing money on the car. For me at least, the price is easily justifiable...
  16. 2024 Mustang GT/EcoBoost Performance Track Testing: 0-60 MPH, 1/4 Mile, Braking & Skid Pad

i will say, as much as i want to upgrade to the '24 for its improvement in basically every category, my 2010 is no slouch in the lower end, especially with the boost in power and redline to 6500 on the 3.73, that thing launches amazingly.
  17. Mustang ETA Recieved

If you want even more hopium you can check on the ford website for your dealers current orders for the 24 *regular order, not special orders
  18. Smaller Diameter Tires to Boost Final Ratio

Yeah I worded that badly, the point I was trying to get across was for every 1 miles worth of rotation the larger tire does, the smaller one only completes .95 miles, so you'll need to push the tire that 5% longer to achieve the goal of the larger tire.
  19. Smaller Diameter Tires to Boost Final Ratio

Yes, about 4.1 inches less, which equates to about .05 mile less for ever 1 mile on the odometer or about 5 miles every 100 as can be seen with the speed chart under the tire images
