I saw the Mach 1’s when they were out but wasn’t really in the market at the time. I could have scored one for less than my Dark Horse ... My oldest brother even had an early 70’s Mach 1.
I like my current choice and for my reasons, which is kind of the point of this thread. Very few people...
I’m probably going to pull the factory wireless charger, and wire in a qi2 fast charger and fit my phones with a mag safe case. I don’t think the factory charger is up to the task and I agree that is almost certainly why the ’25’s don’t have it.
Then you probably know this is the number 1 failed FORSCAN mod among Raptor owners - DRL’s.
This one seems to be problematic because if the mod is done incorrectly, it causes problems immediately, unlike, say... Lincoln fold mirrors, which either work, or don’t work, but don’t cause collateral...
The video is helpful even if you don’t like the factory charger. From what I understand, there are a few issues that potentially cause the low charging / excessive heat.
1) improper phone position / alignment on the charger element.
2) if using a case, too long a distance between the phone...
But the point about heat retention is easily provable, the metal generally does retain heat for a longer period than poly equivalents. Any polymer frame handgun can illustrate this with about 50-75 rounds of aimed, but relatively fast fire. The metal takedown lever is going to be noticeably...
Probably a ’24 GT A10 & 3.55’s
I have bikes to go fast, and shift manually. If I were really going to get serious about auto-x or track events, I’d add in the handling package, but for just kicking around this would fit my needs well.
Of course... the EB Mustang can be had around 30k, so...
Honestly... Other than make the battery charge indicator light up, it doesn’t really do anything ;-)
I’ve used it a few times for up to an hour+ - so say 70 minutes-ish. No change in charge status.
It’s got to be in just the right spot for it to “work” but the one in my Mustang is a non...
Damn. You’ve broken it. I’ll give you $500 for it though.
As long as you’re not hanging out near redline for extended periods of time yet, you’ll likely be fine.
HERETIC! BURN HIM!
You must know by now that the Dark Horse 6 speed is UNASSAILABLE and must be revered.
Now that you mention it, I’ve had that happen to me - toggle to sport and not yet warm enough and it’s hold, hold, hold, rev, rev, rev and SHIFT. I may try leaving it in...
Coming to the ’24 with my last Mustang being a ’97 and a Fox body before that, the current Mustang is hand over fist better at maintaining control, even under heavy throttle with __just__ the better suspension. With the ’24 you have much, much more aggressive electronic nannies to hopefully...
Me too. Mustang did it to me yesterday when my wife wanted to go grab some dessert. Minimal warm up, hop in and go and yeah, some elongated shifts, and definitely not butter smooth. Until it warmed up.
Yes.
I have a slightly different opinion. When the 10r80 is warming up, it shifts conservatively to protect itself, and it is programmed to behave this way. I 2x 10r80’s - ’17 Raptor and ’24 Dark Horse. I knew what to expect but once she’s warmed up, this thing shifts on a whole different...
You jest! But there are actually hypermiling groups that get together and do _exactly_ this. I happened upon them when I lived in NoVA. These nitwits would group ride across the entire interstate at ~57mph
As you can imagine, they are not very popular among the driving public. I was...
