I havenāt seen that but, youāre averaging 243-ish miles per month. How often are you driving and when you do drive, how long are you driving?
if youāre driving infrequently and then only short trips then chances are you arenāt driving far enough and long enough to charge the battery.
I watched during Dark Horse Track Attack, and IIRC the best I got was 1.18 one way and 1.14 the other. Thatās post session beer worthy. 2 pints for being the first track day
Iāve seen 1.36 at track attack and 1.32 on a controlled brake test on local roads, so #respect!
check your fluids; IDK about coolant, Iād not heard of that one before, but Ford is pretty aggressive about motor preservation strategy and oil level is definitely one that will send you into limp home mode. Definitely hit up @roket and see if you threw a DTC.
or check with FORSCAN....
I realize the one Iām referring to was about the F150ās, but the principle is still the same. This is an economy strategy, so they can meet the corp. cafe standards, and in some cases itās dangerous and we can thank throttle by wire for that.
Thereās no longer a direct relationship between...
Take it to the dealer. My ā17 Raptor did this all the time from new. I logged my first complaint at first service. Then, I asked them to reprogram pursuant to a known TSB. S/A said they did it, but instead they checked and programing was current. I barked pretty loud at this, brought it back...
Iāll admit that I generally look for closer to stock vehicles, but this one drew my attention.
Particularly when youāre looking at the power band of the Coyote - GT or Dark Horse- youāre looking at caning the car hard to get good performance out of it.
So if youāre buying a new to you / used...
I donāt use the parking brake mostly, but, if youāre seeing the care rock forward / backward upon start, my MDH does this as does my ā17 Raptor with the 10R80. Iād not observed that previously, and itās far less pronounced than the Dark Horse but itās there.
I do not hear that loud āclickā...
I suppose I need to step up my troll game then. I know a few people on here who can help with that; Iāll reach out to them for the sage trolling tutelage.
See, right there, you just lose credibility. If you said āVette, Camaro, AMG, Porsche etc. fine. Hellcat? sure. But if there is one...
Comparing a loaded, handling package Dark Horse to a Base GT on price is a bit unfair.
I whined about replacing the Trofeos but Ford is selling you a car you can literally drive to the track, run a track day, and drive home. Of course youād better replace those Pirellis right away because...
Iād like to know can this be turned off completely. Because like most late model cars, you donāt actually control the AC, the car does. No big deal now that Texas is just about done with the pre-heat setting, but for the 6 or so weeks of winter-ish we have, we wonāt be needing the chiller at...
Yes, and yes. Respectively.
I replaced my trofeos with the pilots, and am very happy with them sticking wise and they already have outlived the factory tires!
Dark Horse Track Attack cars use the same p4s we buy off the rack at factory psi and those cars stick like mad.
theyāre predictable...
Great to read from a Track Attach brother @RKerr
Itās Right by my Raptor Assault participation trophy!
just out of arms reach on my desk right now.
This was my first foray on to a race track in almost 25 years. Iād previously tracked several times at Summit Point, WV. Man Iāll...
