  1. Get More Horsepower with Steeda's Pro-Flow S650 Cold Air Intake for GT and Dark Horse!

@Wiley Marmot yes bang for buck is a question. I am also leery of the gains in the real driving world for the money and the definite ability for Ford to void the engine warranty (on my 2024 that's 5 YEARS!) for exactly what? Love Steeda, not this product.
  2. Get More Horsepower with Steeda's Pro-Flow S650 Cold Air Intake for GT and Dark Horse!

Steeda makes great after market gear, no question. My only concern with this product is voiding my 5 YEAR warranty on the engine and for what I ask? IMO for very little gain vs the potential pain.
  3. Replacing rear moulding on convertible

@darkpuppet ..... that's beyond bad, that's incompetent. If the dealer won't help - which I think they will if you are firm then call Ford Canada. Have your VIN handy and a picture of that incompetent mess. If your dealer says they can't fix it there are plenty of dealers in and around TO who...
  4. Difficult to lock top.

@jf7926 ..... lots of good advice here. Have owned six convertibles including two Mustangs 2014 and 2024. Never leave the top down if wet or even damp. Don't even leave it down for an extended period. If yoy do and it doesn't want to at least make contact with the rubber seal of the windshield...
  5. GT 2024 - after 5 months still driving heavy and slow

@Maunissan Respectfully.....take it to the dealer. I agree that, from your own words, you don't know much about your car. Regardless of what you have driven the 2024 mustang is a fast vehicle. It's either you or the car. The dealer can tell you which.
  6. Convertible top

@ItsRoyo ..... you may want to investigate a bit more. My friend said the plastic inserts were starting to make wear marks on his top. He wouldn't even sell them to another owner, he threw them in the garbage.
  7. Convertible vibes?

@Instant Action ..... my 2014 Mustang convertible had slight frame feel during a hard corner with twist on the road. The 2024 feels like a steel I beam - rock solid. There are still two frame stiffening bars on the frame but my 2024 has them welded to a large steel plate also bolted to the frame...
  8. Convertible?

@Jxp1962 ..... trunk still huge with top down. Blast to drive. Top one of best constructed - solid, great fabric and virtually no road noise even at 80mph.
  9. How many miles were on your car at delivery?

@Instant Action ..... my 2024 GT Premium Convertible had 25 miles on it. The dealership has three locations and mine was delivered to one, then moved to a bigger one for final detailing. Like everyone, I hope some 18 year old car jockey didn't move it but I do trust the dealership. As well, the...
  10. Get More Horsepower with Steeda's Pro-Flow S650 Cold Air Intake!

Is this installation approved by Ford for warranty purposes? I have a 5 year powertrain warranty on my 2024 GT and do not want to invalidate that.
  11. Convertible top material on 2024 GT Premium?

@Zig ..... have owned 5 convertibles. Two Mustangs, a 2014 and a 2024 GT Premium. I use Autoglym a British product that has been available at auto detail stores and on Amazon - just enter Autoglym Convertible Top Cleaner and conditioner into the search bar. This product will clean and renew your...
  12. How do you guys lock your Mustang?

@keithwalton ...... it's worse than you think. At any point while your key is active it can be read and cloned. Parking lots and valet parking areas are prime locations. My insurance agent told me that thieves now have a call-up device that will activate the fob and clone it. Ford corporate has...
  13. How do you guys lock your Mustang?

@Tyler Durden ..... While talking about locking your cars, I have a comment. I hope all of you have purchased the inexpensive (available for example on Amazon.ca) Faraday pouches to store your keys in or any thief passing by could read your keys and drive off with your car. In your house you can...
  14. Looking to move from BMW M340 to Mustang GT...looking for comments

@Renntech ..... agree and if someone wants a bit more lower end punch you can swap the sub for any number of beefier ones. That said, in our family we have other vehicles for cruising to Led Zep in the thick padded leather seats. When we take the GT out its not to listen to the best musical...
  15. Poor Steering Feedback/ Road Feel?

@samson , respectfully I don't really like to feel wheel shake, but we all use different terms to describe likes/dislikes. I do like to feel tire bite and a consistent curvature through a corner without skip and wander. I find the three steering weight preferences given to me to be pretty decent...
  16. Poor Steering Feedback/ Road Feel?

@PBBLASTER ...... I would wait until your vehicle arrived and then reach a decision after more hands-on use rather than worry in advance. While we are swinging around credentials, not that that is necessarily of any importance, I have a degree in advanced physics and have been building engines...
  17. Fuel for 2024 Mustang GT - premium or regular or mid grade fuel?

@RLE55 ..... You may have misread my post. The crud isn't from the delivery trucks it's from accumulations in any of the older tanks that haven't been replaced with the newer composite ones and even they accumulate water in them due to phase separation and it gets spread throughout the tank. So...
  18. Fuel for 2024 Mustang GT - premium or regular or mid grade fuel?

@roadpilot ..... and to add to your excellent advice - if you pull into a gas station and there is an 18 wheeler gas hauler there filling-up the tanks, drive away as it will take 24 hours for the crud that fill-up stirs in the tanks to settle back down......and you don't want to pump that into...
