i'm with you, normally white is a really boring color to me, but this looks really sharp
i also find it really interesting that a lot of the GTs and seemingly all of the Dark Horses being tested are manuals, you can tell by that yellow sticker on the driver's window which tells the transporter...
someone i know looked up that VIN on the window sticker (1FA6P8CF4R5399537 if anyone is wondering) and it shows up in OASIS as a '24 Mustang, here's some interesting facts about it
-Vapor Blue is also called Whisper Blue and is paint code K1
-The S650 GT is ~45lbs heavier than the S550 Mach 1...
Ford has some really weird priorities as to what gets a special keyfob
Shelby models get a special fob, which makes sense, but not Bullitt or Mach 1
the Explorer and Edge ST get a special keyfob, though
i'm not holding my breath for a DH-specific keyfob, they did custom badges, decals, and brought back the smooth deck lid panel for the Mach 1, but it has a normal horse
the tail lights are one piece, but don't forget about the updated engine, new interior with it's screens, the buttons below the middle screen, headlights, oil and trans cooler placement, brake fade, plus general bug testing and probably a lot of other things that have changed but haven't been...
i will kinda agree, at first i was not a huge fan of the fake carbon fiber pattern, but that's mainly because on the S550 only the basic Ecoboosts got a plastic carbon fiber looking dash
it's grown on me now, though
i appreciate Ford adding a point where you can jump the battery without having to take off the cover and possibly lose the little screw pins
also, that engine cover reminds me of the Gen 2 engine cover
it also looks like that has the appearance pack interior without the exterior, and it looks...
Has anyone else noticed that and videos we've seen with the indicators on has looked sorta wrong, especially on the front?
it's especially noticeable in this video
i'm hoping that it's just a little software bug and it's not released like this
other than that, i'm so glad they added the...
something i only now realized was that article by Carbon Revolution says "FY23" and that means "financial year", i honestly thought it was some fancy way to say "year"
in any case, that means that production for the wheels could start in March or April of 2023!
love the interior, also whoever said Ford was just lazy about removing the tint was right
i hope they give the 10R80 dark horses some metallic blue shifter accents too
sad to say, it wasn't there today either, looks like the '23 Escape may have stolen it's spotlight
again, there were no solid answers, either
i feel i was scammed, tbh, i spent $56 total ($15 each day parking, $13 each day ticket) to see a vehicle that was advertised on their Facebook and press...
there was no 2024 mustang there today, asked if it would be there in the future and I didn't really get an answer
I'll go back on Saturday and see if it's there
i would love if Ford one day put out an update that added the Crown Vic/Grand Marquis digital dash (or similar styled version)
personally, i would make a layout based on a game like Need For Speed Hot Pursuit (2010) or Project Cars 2, or one inspired by another vehicle like the Koenigsegg CCXR...
ah, ok, i must've missed or forgotten about that
i don't know if i would call the 10R80 a slush-box, it's not a perfect transmission by any means but it's pretty good and can have some pretty nice shifts. i will agree about the too many gear ratios, though, sometimes it feels like this.
