  1. Car and Driver isn't a fan of the RTR Mustang

C&D long ago became a crazy uncle for foreign cars. No credibility at all IMO.
  2. 2028 Camaro 7th gen approved! 🥊

100% and in the trade that would be called brand cannibalization. Is GM THAT stupid? Like I said I saw a flock of flying pigs.
  3. 2028 Camaro 7th gen approved! 🥊

Yeah - and I just saw a flock of flying pigs.
  4. Paddle Shifters

@Trella ..... I hear you. The first day I had my new 2024 GT I pulled an amazing downshift on a 4 laner thinking I was tugging on the windshield wioer washer function. Shifet down to 3rd at 120 kph. Engine roared and scared tghe c rap out of me and the guy who was passing. I still have to be...
  5. Flat River Assembly Plant working on Saturdays?

@Skye ..... exectly. Closed for Christmas too. What you have said rings particularly true at order time. Some purchasers totally option-up their Mustangs - can't blame them for that - but the more "exotic" you make your Mustang the more likely one of the options can hold it up.
  6. And the wait on another S650 order begins…..again

Congratulations. Your wife has great taste. As for the ordering experience I have ordered four Mustangs. The only "negative" experience I had was with a small dealer and it was not really "really" their fault. They ordered so few Mustangs their allocation was low and when they did they assigned...
  7. Mustang sales: 6,152 in March and increased 50.1% in Q1 2026

@NegativeMultiplier ..... me too Ha Ha - my new 2026 MM loaded on a flat bed at the dealers last Monday.
  8. Filter Wraps

We ran oil less filters versus oem on dynos. The differences were small. Not so with oiled filters. We did not test filter "covers" but, personally I do not like the look and believe they could easily bunch-up and actually restrict airflow even over oem paper filters. To me the solution is...
  9. Filter Wraps

@MustangNoob ..... have you considered aftermarket oil less filters like AFE. I have AFE oil less filters that are better than the Ford which BTW are decent as they used to be made by Wix. My AFe's can be washed many times if you follow the instructions, flow extremely well and filter above oem...
  10. Out With The Old - In With The New

@Marty1000 .....thank you. Yes, I did. The highest volume Mustang delaer where I live will assume my warranty obligations so that is of comfort. The selling dealer just informed me my 2024 sold after three days and multiple viewings. BTW thank you for posting the checklist I used the one from...
  11. My clear airbox cover project. I like it...

@DarkHorsePremium ..... you want the Roush air filters as they are high flow AFE oiless filters that can be washed many times and improve airflow.
  12. Out With The Old - In With The New

@B229218 .... I understand completely. It is really hard to see.....If you follow the lower control arm to the left the "housing" (as it was referred to by my local Ford dealer) that is where the arm bolts to the body - where you can see the bolt protruding. Yes, it is certainly hard to see...
  13. Out With The Old - In With The New

@B229218 as requested ..... attached is a picture of the lower control arm on my 2024 you should be able to see the housing on it - it is the U shaped metal that looks heavy. That is where the flatbed driver wrapped the soft canvas straps around. You can see that you have to be careful not to...
  14. Out With The Old - In With The New

@Paul's stable ...... seriously? Maybe you have a "thin skin" but I don't. I just like to detail the whys of what I have done. You don't have to read my posts.
  15. Out With The Old - In With The New

@BimmerDriver - Great question. I did a lot of research. As you know the 2024 and newer mustangs have those friggin' belly pans on that cover major frame members so attachment points are scarce. Also, unless you have the perfoprmance package you do not have the attachment points on the front...
  16. Out With The Old - In With The New

@BrownsReds ..... good question. The boss was with me and she likes her luxury (and that ain't the middle seat of a flatbed for 600 miles with two guys talking cars the whole way there and back) - and - since she green lighted the 2026 without reservation I was only too happy to agree - you KNOW...
  17. Out With The Old - In With The New

@Paul's stable and @ Kangha ...... I doubt it very much that you guys would have driven. The pic of it going down (Vapor Blue Mustang) was taken before we ran into a winter storm about 80 miles from home - we knew we would. There was snow and ice on the highway and they were spraying brine. The...
  18. New Mustang GTD Nurburgring Lap Time

Are we back at this? Too funny! I thought we all agreed that Mustangs are THE iconic brand and newer Corvettes are just alien childrens' transformer clones. I don't care how fast a ZR1 goes, to me it still looks line a piece of asymetric junk put together by someone with a defined personality...
  19. Out With The Old - In With The New

I am doing my level best to keep the Mustang production line humming. In 2024 I got an amazing deal on a Vapor Blue Metallic GT Premium Convertible. Fast forward to 2026. I checked-out a 2026. Got lucky twice with a great offer on trading-in my 2024. Ended up with a 2026 Mustang premium...
  20. Placed an order and told a 6 month wait??

I just got my 2026 GT Premium Convertible on Monday. It was ordered in late December. So, three months - but - it had a relatively straight forward options list, although it was a convertible: Molten Magenta Metallic Tri Coat, space gray interior, active valve exhaust, rim up-grade to 20", B&O...
