  1. Hard water stains on windshield

    @Jaredc ..... sorry to hear that. My next stop would be at the dealer telling him to get that $hit off my windshield or replace it. That's an idiotic move that could endanger you due to many different circumstances. I question the IQ of anyone who would do that.
  2. Hard water stains on windshield

    @Jaredc ..... there should be no film on your windshield.
  3. First Oil Change at Dealer - Sloppy Job

    @Cz_Ziemniak ...... uncle was VP (chemical engineer) of a major oil company. Grandfather and family designed and built marine and auto race engines as a hobby. Had a complete shop with CNC routers, decking beds and dynos. Grandfather owned a heavy machine rental/leasing business. Family get...
  4. First Oil Change at Dealer - Sloppy Job

    @Cz_Ziemniak ..... respectfully I have seen tests to the contrary. There is very weird behavior associated in the Full synthetic oil family pertaining to weights. When you use a 0 weight as your minimum viscosity it reduces the final weight of the oil. A 0W-40 might start at close to 0 but will...
  5. First Oil Change at Dealer - Sloppy Job

    @Westphal .... if I were going to upgrade from a from a 5W-30 to a 40 weight I'd go 5W-40 not 0W-40.
  6. 2026 Mustang Build and Price Site Is Up!

    @Fender5803 ..... I believe Ford switched that up. The auto tranny is now a NC item but you will pay almost the same amount if you up-grade the stereo. Smart move by Ford as more probably want the auto than the Bose up-grade as many who really value a sound system will up-grade from the Bose...
  7. Lowest month sales ever - September 2025

    @mkstang_com ..... so what?
  8. S650 Mid Cycle Refresh

    ........just dreamin' none of what is mentioned is likely to happen or isn't a problem with 99% of S650 Mustang owners, so again it won't happen.
  9. HOLES IN FRONT FENDERLINER

    .....@MORIDER ...... exactly - I installed the kit in March 2024 after watching the great Tony Unica's video and you can't even see where it was done. 100% American designed and manufactured. Support American workers Hein at DIYvan.com and their quality work.
  10. Official Adriatic Blue Metallic Mustang S650 Thread

    .....agree the color is awesome the wheels IMO look like what the teenage owners of Honda civics do right after they cut their exhaust off to put a can on it - IMO it looks super cheap.
  11. Ford updates overwriting tune

    ......if you disable corporate up-dates to your vehicle you have just suicided your warranty, if you have one.
  12. Water drips into footwell.

    @DT-GT ..... same here 2024 GT premium 'vert. No water intrusion into cabin. Did have to adjust the stops on the trunk to better seal its rearward edge to the body gasket but mission accomplished.
  13. Replaced Nav Screen with MPG

    ......have been on a lot of forums cars and boats - this is the best of all.
  14. Steeda low profile jacking rails… yes or no?

    ......and I have heard that the s550 style rails conflict with the factory frame rails on the convertible. I have a 2024 GT and I do not believe the s550 style rails would fit it properly read that safely.
  15. Oil consumption

    @Eli GT ..... I always check my oil when it is hot. I let it drain down for 10-15 minutes, any longer won't yield much difference. Agreed - I don't trust original factory fills, dealer PDI or service departments to provide the correct oil level. I always check.
  16. When will I ...

    @25Raptor. IF and I say IF you are considering asking your dealer to keep your "jailbird" then you may want to ask them about ordering a 2025 as I think until the end of September all 2025 Mustang orders include most if not all of the options at N/C. You will still have to pay shipping, PDI and...
  17. Is the in car oil monitor accurate?

    @robvas ..... agree - your oil doesn't gain acidity magically at 365 days. A study from Shell Oil showed every brand of oil tested showed varied degrees of acidity by 1000 KM, more if it was driven short distances that did not allow for contaminants, acids and water vapor to be burned -off. A...
  18. Is the in car oil monitor accurate?

    @sarahestelle ..... respectfully I do not agree. I would never leave oil in an engine for two years - particularly if there were low miles on it - as there will likely be a considerable build-up of acids, contaminants and water vapor. Even if I only put 4K miles on it a year I would at least...
  19. When will I ...

    @25Raptor ..... aren't all Mustangs on "sale" now where all options are deducted?
