Racer's mantra "Good fuel keeps the engine cool" ......full synthetic oil and minimum 91 octane for long engine life.

......that is just utter incompetence. I would love to see the PDI checklist that all Ford dealers are required to complete. They once checked-off proper clutch travel on my checklist and it was an automatic.

......any modification's beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I never expected to get more HP but thought I might get and believe I did get better airflow .... but to repeat my original post, I bought the kit because I thought it would look good, it was just that simple. Don't overthink it...

@m gunter ..... I do not believe the jacking rails will work on a convertible as they are not compatible with the factory frame stiffening rails that start at/under the trunk area and run forward to each side of the underbody. I would recommend you contact Steeda before purchasing.

Up-date on the Roush kit. Drove the Mustang about 150 miles, part of it a construction zone with a lot of dust. Got home and fingers crossed, lifted the hood hoping the fit of the Roush Kit lids would prevent dust from getting around the contact with the Ford bottom half of the air box. Happy to...

@RC53 ..... when the retailer told me they had no idea when the Corsa cold air intake kit would be ready I asked for my deposit back and bought the Roush. I tried to contact Corsa multiple times by phone and always got voicemail. Corsa used to be very responsive by phone.

Dealer disabled mine and it has never come back on. Start/Stop is very harmful to vehicles (many reasons already mentioned) one really bad on engine like. Unused gas gets dumped into cylinders and dilutes the engine oil reducing its effectiveness over time. Disable the stupid program a.s.a.p.

@Tarz825 ..... I agree and really liked Corsa products. We used their marine through hull switchable high performance exhausts on a lot of the marine HP engine builds we did. Great products 5 star appearance and longevity. My problem was neither Corsa nor their dealers seemed to have any idea...

@Joe_Stang .... agree 100% and almost certainly better airflow. I think several manufacturers are/will offer aftermarket air intake tubing too and that's next on my list.

@Sconn1971 .... They might but these were the only ones I could get that were "dry" so if blue they would likely be oiled - which I am sure you and the rest of the forum would treat properly because of the knowledge base here. I have read that Corsa will soon have their version of clear air box...
