  1. Renzo Forgedlite RFL5 and RFL10 Flow-Lite Series 19" and 20" Sizes

Love the chrome RF10....and the chrome rim that is third from the bottom of the post! I'm a sucker for chrome. Even put them on the boss's (aka wife) ride.
  2. Selling my 2025 DH and the market is in the tank

    .....I know a Troll when i smell one....don't take the bait !
  3. Florida Highway Patrol Unmarked S650

When I was 16 I had a Karmann Ghia. I guy ran a red light while fleeing Police after three previous hit and runs. He t-boned me. Hit me so hard he bent my car like a U. Tore my seat belts right out of the floor anchors. I went out the side window and was sitting on someone's lawn. No shoulder...
  4. any shock tower braces for us whipple guys

@Mellor10 ..... do you have more leverage at the bottom of a pair of stilts or at the top, I ask rhetorically .... this was grade 10 physics question - no disrespect intended.
  5. 5w-30 to 5w-50 on na 5.0

Use full synthetic 5w-30. You should not be running 5w-50 with your set-up.
  6. any shock tower braces for us whipple guys

@Mellor10 .....a brace underneath would be better than nothing but not as effective with strut tower strengthening as an upper tower brace. I would get a custom steel brace fabricated and then have it powdercoated.
  7. any shock tower braces for us whipple guys

@GhastlyTT ..... there is a lengthy report on a car forum that I reposted part of on, I believe this forum, wherein an automotive engineer and his friend used calibration and laser equipment as well as physical links between strut towers and the results were IMO predictable. the lateral forces...
  8. any shock tower braces for us whipple guys

@Highspeedplay ...... hopefully you can find something that is already made. If not, no way would I drive that set-up (if it were me) without strut tower braces. Bottom line I'd have them fabricated if no off-the-shelf were ready. IMO that HP with no brace will bust things up if not sooner then...
  9. Adding brembo brakes

@AZ_Ryan ......you could be right. Ford did not offer my friend an explanation., but off set sounds reasonable.
  10. Best air filter for the Mustang?

@Tripower .... truth be told I bought it for the looks BUT after a couple of conversations with Roush customer care and after reading some information they recommended I realized their air filters were IMO way better than most available. I believe AFE makes a custom version for Roush (like Sears...
  11. Adding brembo brakes

So, just went onto the Ford website to "build your Mustang" it confirmed what my friend told me - according to the site today you can not order the optional five spoke (star shape) rims that I have if you want to order the "Brembo package". The website automatically deletes the five star rim...
  12. 19's front - 20's rear ...?

IMO - no advantage, bad idea.
  13. Best air filter for the Mustang?

@jbrnigan ..... a filter only clogs if you allow it to and oiled filters clog a lot faster and can rarely be cleaned properly. Roush and a couple of other filter makers offer freer flowing filters that arguably trap particulates better than paper filters and can be re-used without degradation...
  14. Best air filter for the Mustang?

@TheACN ....I love my Roush. The air filters that came with my kit are DRY filters not the crappy oiled ones that clog. After 3000km I just vacuumed them. BTW they can be washed many, many times with very mild soap and warm water. I ordered two extra filters with my kit. BTW ll & FWIW.....I get...
  15. Another mustang variant is getting revealed tonight.

I'd never knock a thread BUT this constant recurring talk about corvettes - isn't there a forum for delusional corvette owners, somewhere?????......I don't care how much faster a friggin' corvette is. My friend has one I have accompanied him to their coffee and cars ...... looks like a bunch of...
  16. Oil Pressure after hitting up some twisties

......you can even get oil coolers that have small electric cooling fans that are very effective. There are many "remote" oil coolers that can be placed in a number of areas under the S650 platform that are exceptionally effective. RSA (race solutions America) used to have some videos of their...
  17. Oil Pressure after hitting up some twisties

@GeekGT5.0 ..... you are okay. Remember "today's" synthetic oils run thinner (they have too) and are formulated to do so. Their VI's (viscosity improvers) can form long chain polymers to protect against engine heat and even spikes in a nano second. Two suggestions: I have a 2024 GT and will soon...
  18. Video: Can Richard Hammond Build an 800bhp Mustang Dark Horse in 48 Hours?

.....and if he does will he then miss a turn while driving it - demolishing it in a field. Bet the poor car is actively pursuing a witness protection program.
