  1. S650 Tuning Info

And lose that proper V8 sound? No thanks. A flat plane V8 sounds great at 8000-9000 rpm, but sounds like two 4 pots at low revs.
  2. S650 Tuning Info

I like the screen, TB's, and I won't be tuning it as it can lose my licence in around 8-10 seconds as it is. I'm a happy chappie
  3. The all new Mustang eBike

And so it begins. My wife is not going to be happy. I even saw a Grabber Blue Vespa that made my wallet itch.
  4. Broken In Enough to Hammer it a Little

1400 miles is broken in. I did 1000 miles before I gave it the fagioli. (beans) Frogdog the first did it right.
  5. S650 vs RZ34 (Nissan Z)

I saw an ex-demo 370Z at a local mall yesterday. 1800kms, retail new $91,000, marked down to $69,995. But I didn't like the look, not very special in any way, and we have a real problem here in that dealers buy used JDM cars in Japan, import them and cut the guts out of the NZ new residuals. It...
  6. Did your know that the tire monitoring on Fords is NOT that accurate?

Talking of tyre gauges, I bought an Ettenwolf last year, it's guaranteed to be accurate to .5 psi and reads in .1 psi increments. It agrees with Ford's TPMS. A bit expensive, but seems really good.
  7. How many miles on the Pirelli P Zero’s?

Jeez, we're brudders from an udder mudder. I'm a Michelin fan, used them on bikes and cars for many years. The reviews of the PZ5 are very good, not quite the tread life of a PS5, but sportier. It's going to be a tough call when I ditch the stock tyres.
  8. How many miles on the Pirelli P Zero’s?

Do you mean the PZ4 and new PZ5?
  9. Did your know that the tire monitoring on Fords is NOT that accurate?

It's how we calculated correct cold pressure on our bikes. We looked for a 5 psi rise after 30 minutes of brisk riding.
  10. PREMIUM-VS-REGULAR GAS FOR 2024 GT??

I sure wouldn't drink blue wine, but I might grabber bottle of good red.
  11. Did your know that the tire monitoring on Fords is NOT that accurate?

Exactly. I'll put 32psi in and in 30 kms driving it's showing 34/35psi
  12. How many miles on the Pirelli P Zero’s?

I had 245/35-20 P Zero PZ4's on my last car, they were at 3mm tread depth after 24000 kms. They would have mde 30000 before they were illegal. I put Michelin PS5's on at that point, they seem to be the durability kings in UHP summer tyres.
  13. Did your know that the tire monitoring on Fords is NOT that accurate?

I use my own accurate tyre gauge, it seems to match every time.
  14. P51 Inspired….

Nice, now all it needs is that Packard Merlin.
  15. PREMIUM-VS-REGULAR GAS FOR 2024 GT??

Then they clearly wouldn't have the good taste and discrimination to buy such a fine method of transportation as we have.
  16. S650 Tech Packages Suck: Prove Me Wrong

Not here though, our cops are so speed obssesed they encourage slow drivers. Only once in many years of driving did I see a cop U turn, leapfrog traffic and stop an a***hole who had 20 cars stacked up behind.
  17. S650 Tech Packages Suck: Prove Me Wrong

Jeez, a Mustang is a lightweight these days. An M2 is as heavy, and an M5 is 2 tons plus. Not to mention EV's, you'd think the batteries were lead acid.
  18. S650 Tech Packages Suck: Prove Me Wrong

I don't know your circumstances, so this comment isn't directed at you. But we scrimped and saved back "in the day". Eating out was a rare treat, no foreign holidays, all my wife's wages went to the mortgage. It was the same for everyone I knew. And, having terrible taste in women back then, I...
  19. PREMIUM-VS-REGULAR GAS FOR 2024 GT??

Sorry, but I can't understand why anyone would use base octane fuel in a performance engine. To save a few bucks? I'd rather just drink one less bottle of wine a week.
  20. PREMIUM-VS-REGULAR GAS FOR 2024 GT??

Two things a previous post said. There is detonation and there is pre-ignition. There is no pre-detonation. Pre-ignition is when the mixture is ignited by something before the spark plug fires. It could be carbon build up, badly machined combustion chamber, etc, etc. Pre ignition is easily...
