  1. COLD AIR INTAKE

OK, we're talking at cross purposes, that's what I meant, but to the air inlet. The airbox is part of a tuned intake system.
  2. Coolant consumption ?

Looks a little dehydrated. Oh wait, sorry, wrong golden fluid.
  3. Mustang GTD vs Shelby GT500

Now as a petrolhead I don't get that. I want to drive my cars. If I didn't I'd buy a Nissan Juke.
  4. Do you guys recommend letting the engine idle down before driving off?

About cold starts killing cars. My first house was on a very steep street. One of my neighbours had a new Nissan something that he used to just fire up and shoot off up the hill, no warm up. Engine was f**ked in a year. I kid you not. The rest of us had mechanical sympathy, our cars and bikes...
  5. Display screen visor

I'll volunteer to test one. Hint hint, nudge nudge. 😁
  6. COLD AIR INTAKE

I think it does. Intake tuning involves everything from the air inlet to the valves.
  7. Do you guys recommend letting the engine idle down before driving off?

1st start of the day in cold temps, I'll idle it until some heat is showing on the gauge. Otherwise I'll just let the fast idle reduce and go. I'll never cane any engine until it's showing normal driving temps
  8. Mustang GTD vs Shelby GT500

I'm guessing the target market is more interested in lateral G than longitudinal.
  9. COLD AIR INTAKE

The theory of intake length tuning is sound. Some bikes have variable length intake tubes in the airbox. But I doubt spacers are that sophisticated.
  10. Coolant consumption ?

Coolant does evaporate slowly in normal use. But, unless it's a trick of the light, I think that looks a bit off too.
  11. S650 GT Grill > Restriction > Are there any before and after dyno runs with nothing more than the airbox lids removed?

I did see something similar a couple of months ago, I can't remember the tuner, but it might have involved the Steeda CAI system.
  12. S650 GT Grill > Restriction > Are there any before and after dyno runs with nothing more than the airbox lids removed?

As i understand it, you can't replicate on a dyno the intake airflow in actual driving. So any differences shown on a dyno run may not occur in the real world.
  13. Active Exhaust/Track Mode Driving

That makes me an idiot squared. Detector plus 120
  14. Fuel economy display

I'd rather not while driving. What I mean is that cars we've had with instant consumption display it shows as a constantly changing figure in line with throttle position etc. Neither display in the Mustang does that. It's just a figure that slowly changes over time ie, the average. OK, I just...
  15. Is the in car oil monitor accurate?

It's not that critical. It'll be fine. During the mass supression of our population in 2021 my first service on that car was 4 months overdue. There was no concern from the dealer, and no one was doing high mileages anyway.
  16. Active Exhaust/Track Mode Driving

OK, I'm an idiot. But I was just experimenting with a new car. Honest Officer, it's true.
  17. Active Exhaust/Track Mode Driving

HTF is that legal. The car would be impounded here.
  18. Fuel economy display

Neither seem to be instant in any way.
