No, not a remake of Bullet with a man child playing the part of the equal coolest actor ever?
  2. Happy New Year!

Happy New Year all. When summer arrives (sarcasm, our weather has been crap) There's some kms to be put on Bonnie. Hope '26 is better than '25 all round.
  3. Driver door rattle

    Did they replace the bracket?
  4. Engine Oil Leak Issue

If you have a bore scope or hand mirror and torch, try and see for yourself where it's coming from. Just to make sure your dealer gets it right.
  5. Rattling interior cant figure out where, no help from dealership either

Rattles/buzzing are a huge PIA. Both my last car and my wife's had buzzes I could have sworn where in the dash centre, one was the downshift paddle on mine and another was the release button on the handbrake on hers. Best way to find rattles is to get someone else to drive while you put...
  6. Well Water

Water spots are the bain of my life. I don't know if it's available in the US, but Duraseal spot remover worked well on my wife's car. There will be other brands. Dilute white vinegar is supposed to work too. There's always buffing as well.
  7. IS THE DARK HORSE ROAD RAGE BAIT?

We have a lot of that. One idiot is doing 15 - 20 kmh under the limit, the next two or three are too incapable/scared to overtake, and you end up with a convoy of pissed off drivers. Then, all too often, someone makes the wrong move and you have a head on fatal. This is why I love the rolling...
  8. New York State Police is Buying Mustangs to Chase Down Clout Chasers On Social Media

Jesus wept. As I said, lock the w⚓s up, throw away the key.
  9. Auto folding side mirrors

Mine fold, not sure if they're bigger than US ones. If they are, I'll gloat. It doesn't make a lot of difference when they're folded though.
  10. Stalling wear on clutch

Unlike some, I don't think it's wise to teach using driver aids. A learner should learn to control accelerator and clutch unassisted. Stalling at low rpm is not damaging, try to limit kangarooing though, it's not good for the drive train if done too often. Initial training in something like a...
  11. New York State Police is Buying Mustangs to Chase Down Clout Chasers On Social Media

I'm in two minds about pursuits. If you chase, there is greater risk. But as I have seen, pulling back does not guarantee the offender will slow down. Then there is the question of why they're running - hiding something really bad? As for aircraft, the guy I bought one of my bikes off was chased...
  12. B&O sound

I like it. It must suit my weird hearing issues.
  13. Road Noise

You could try quieter tyres, but there might be a performance compromise. I found Mich PS5's to be quieter than the P Zeros on my last car.
  14. Ford to reveal all-new road-going race car on January 15... GT500 successor?!

I was shocked at the braking performance of some Teslas. If it goes quick I'd want it to stop quicker.
  15. Top Gear video - Mustang GTD: Faster Than A GT3 RS? | Stig Laps

Exactly. I love unusual cars. There's a value in scarecity
  16. IS THE DARK HORSE ROAD RAGE BAIT?

I couldn't agree more. I haven't driven in Germany, but from the hundreds of vids of Autobahn driving two things stood out; nearly always people clear the fast lane quickly, those that don't are often tourists. The other thing is the awareness shown by drivers on high speed runs. They start...
  17. IS THE DARK HORSE ROAD RAGE BAIT?

Just having a laugh Glenn, but some people back then thought I was one. (some still do)I thought they were too.😉
  18. Ford to reveal all-new road-going race car on January 15... GT500 successor?!

OK, the top line EV's are fast. But what gets me about ordinary EV owners is that they mistake instant low end thrust for power, and think that 0 - 100kmh in 6.5 secs is quick. And, I agree with Mr Upacurb, there's no drama. I damn near giggle at every cold start, I'd be yawning with an EV.
