I really don't notice any strange thing while driving the car, so I don't know why I should get the stop the hop kit. I need to drive a car with this kit and compare it to mine to know what the difference is. Until then I can't pay a lot of money for something I don't even know what it will change.

You sure it's because of the sun? I've heard more people complain about stuck screens, even in colder temps. It fixed itself after a while, after a restart or after a reset. But yeah, these screens can get hot, especially in hot weather. I remember there was an update to fix the screens.

I've heard about people buying the Mongoose cable wich is much cheaper. But that cable might be limited in what it can do. I have no experience in any of those cables and what the differences are.

I care more about how they fix my car and what they charge instead of great coffee or food. We have dealers that give you drinks and stuff but charge you twice for repair service. I rather go to a restaurant if I'm hungry.
