  1. Ford doubles down on EV future

Your estimate doesn't fit with reality. Plenty of places well in excess of that now both in terms of vehicles on the road and vehicle sales (EV). US is very much behind compared to the rest of the world in adoption, but then even parts of the US are ahead of others. There were 88 million cars...
  2. Ford doubles down on EV future

Those issues are not down to it being an EV of course, just poor build quality which can affect any vehicle.
  3. Ford doubles down on EV future

Ford is a GLOBAL company. US sales are less than half of the total and you don't even get many of the Ford cars made and sold elsewhere. Ford is lagging behind many car companies in EV sales (although in Europe and China they have released a whole raft of new models) but the direction of travel...
  4. How do we save the mustang?

You have to remember the late 70's and 80's Mustangs were pretty dire. They lost the essence of the original and it wasn't until the S197 that the Mustang found it's way again. All well documented that John Coletti saved the Mustang by preventing the Probe becoming the Mustang

Oh what two Mustang V8 owners. I don't think either of us have said anybody should go EV SUV - maybe you can quote where I said that? I think you probably need to take a break from this place if you are so wound up about what I posted over the last 2 years!

I think many of these suggestions from others are best served by a classic car. No new car will ever be like that again. As for comfort - yes, considering Ford call it a GT there should be a softer version as with the Mercedes CLE
  8. How do we save the mustang?

Not sure about the sub 2 seconds. I have experienced 3 seconds 0-60 and that was pretty unpleasant as a passenger! 4 seconds is fine.
  9. How do we save the mustang?

  10. How do we save the mustang?

But an opinion not based on facts is worthless. I could opine that the world is flat, but it would be a worthless opinion.
  11. How do we save the mustang?

Some people like to express views based on total ignorance with huge confidence!
  12. List of EU forum orders

Ford dealers (even Ford Store dealers) struggle to get updates on cars. Your order on Oasis will show the VIN when it is committed (the dealer can view this screen as it is their ordering system). The build date (when it happens) will show on there too. It will be AT LEAST 3 months from build...
  13. How do we save the mustang?

Canada just re-announced what they had already announced in December, and agreed not to introduce it's own tariffs - if that is folding? All the current willy waving is doing is upsetting local trade, some of it for a long time.
  14. How do we save the mustang?

Erm, the ROW still calls it the Gulf of Mexico  US and Mexico reach deal to put tariffs on hold - for now - BBC News President Sheinbaum said the US had in turn agreed to increase measures to prevent the trafficking of high-powered US weapons into Mexico.
  15. How do we save the mustang?

Or maybe Mexico called the US on gun smuggling
  16. How do we save the mustang?

When the US government pay Ford to move the plant they may well consider it.
  17. How do we save the mustang?

On the contrary - cars last much longer than they used too.
  18. S650 UK orders

I see somebody posted about a UK hold on deliveries because of the screen issues elsewhere on this forum? Any more information ?
  19. How do we save the mustang?

Those days are long gone. Go and buy a classic car as that is what you clearly want!
