It's a turbo 4, revving it a bit more may actually be slower as it drops out of the boosted torque. The 2.3 has a very flat torque curve that drops away suddenly. Graph for the similar Focus installation. You can see why a 5800rpm up change is chosen.

Rain channels only disperse water to prevent aquaplaning. The compound is what matters for grip.

It is easy to tell. If you have the larger mirrors then they will autofold. Completely different physically to the US mirrors.

Agree the PZ4 is absolutely fine and very little difference between it and the PS4S. I would use the Continental SportContact 7 which were a step up from the PS4S on my S550 when it comes to replacement.

Try driving one now though - they are rubbish. I drove a Charger from the 70's recently. the steering turned half a turn before the wheels did anything, the 3 speed auto stole most of the power, it had catastrophic understeer and horrific body roll. Rose tinted specs are just that!

Agree. My S650 is slightly heavier in all modes than the S550 was. Not a huge amount in it though.
