  1. 2024 Mustang GT Light Bluish Puff Of Smoke.

That smoke comes out so fast there is no way it has had time to travel from the engine down the exhaust?
  2. Auto stop start on a 2025 GT premium.

I don't need a rumbling V8 at idle to maintain my manhood :giggle: The comical aspect is for those that do! Silence when stopped - great
  3. Wheels (AUS) Magazine eliminates Mustang Dark Horse from 2024 Car of the Year (COTY).

Maybe similar to the UK where car magazines have really dumbed down of late. Porsche or BMW seem to win every test even if they are not in it, probably because the marketing fleets are the biggest! The other irritating favourite of late us describing a car's ride as 'brittle'. WTAF are the on...
  4. Upgrading the B&O Sound System

You only have to look at the Pioneer next to the OEM sub to see the gulf in quality
  5. MagneRide® Damping System Vs Magnetic Damping System ?

But they rarely fail and last longer than normal shocks, partly as a result of less mechanical parts (no valves). They can be refurbished.
  6. Intense Lime Yellow Metallic - anyone ordering it?

A thread full of people arguing black is white over something incredibly personal - car colour You are all wrong, and right, because one persons fabulous bright yellow is another person worst nightmare. A Mustang doesn't need to be lurid to stand out. I daily drive mine, I don't want to have...
  7. S650 Mustang -Keep hands on steering wheel message

Yes, but you have to hold the steering wheel somewhere. Injuries to the arms are rarely life threatening unlike those to the skull. Collar bone fractures are also a risk from the seatbelt but less so in modern cars with load limiting belts. Plus the airbag type and deployment matters, they are...
  8. S650 Mustang -Keep hands on steering wheel message

Why? Do you not think airbag design takes the driver position into account?
  9. S650 Mustang EcoBoost Review

From a sound point of view an inline 4 cylinder is the dullest of the dull and there is not a huge amount you can do to it. I had Mondeo's like that, one a 2.5 5 cylinder (220PS) and one the Ecoboost 2.0 4 cylinder (240PS). The Ecoboost was quicker and much more economical but the 5 sounded way...
  10. TYRE COMPARISON: Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S vs Pirelli P Zero PZ4

I would read the article - it doesn't match what you are suggesting
  11. S650 Mustang EcoBoost Review

It's a turbo 4, revving it a bit more may actually be slower as it drops out of the boosted torque. The 2.3 has a very flat torque curve that drops away suddenly. Graph for the similar Focus installation. You can see why a 5800rpm up change is chosen.
  12. TYRE COMPARISON: Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S vs Pirelli P Zero PZ4

But as the document mentioned some compounds work in different ways so wet and dry performance doesn't always match warm v cold performance, and obviously mixtures of compounds don't behave in a linear way either. A tyre can be good in the cold and rain (winter tyres are a good example) because...
  13. TYRE COMPARISON: Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S vs Pirelli P Zero PZ4

RN86597218.doc An interesting read on tyre compounds
  14. TYRE COMPARISON: Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S vs Pirelli P Zero PZ4

Rain channels only disperse water to prevent aquaplaning. The compound is what matters for grip.
  15. Puddle Lights how do they works? Dark Horse (EU)

It is easy to tell. If you have the larger mirrors then they will autofold. Completely different physically to the US mirrors.
  16. TYRE COMPARISON: Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S vs Pirelli P Zero PZ4

Agree the PZ4 is absolutely fine and very little difference between it and the PS4S. I would use the Continental SportContact 7 which were a step up from the PS4S on my S550 when it comes to replacement.
  17. Official VAPOR BLUE Mustang S650 Thread

It is very light dependent. It looks quite a grey / blue in darker conditions but very blue in the full sun
  18. Steering wheel heavy

Try driving one now though - they are rubbish. I drove a Charger from the 70's recently. the steering turned half a turn before the wheels did anything, the 3 speed auto stole most of the power, it had catastrophic understeer and horrific body roll. Rose tinted specs are just that!
  19. Steering wheel heavy

They didn't on my car. Sensitivity around the straight ahead is increased but overall effort to turn once off straight ahead is heavier than my S550
  20. Steering wheel heavy

Agree. My S650 is slightly heavier in all modes than the S550 was. Not a huge amount in it though.
