Agree - people don't want coupes in general, they want SUV's. A big SUV carries more 'status' to people than a coupe.

Special orders are frequently a spec that is not on the lot, more bespoke and often harder to sell if the original order customer drops out. New cars ordered for stock will be of a quick turnover spec, although Ford certainly in the UK often dictate the spec of showroom cars give or take a bit.

My point was there are no second hand cars if they are never built. No new cars = No second hand cars!

indeed (it was tongue in cheek), but those figures for the spoiler at speeds of 200kph+ (120mph) are marginal at best. What you would gain in a corner from an extra 60kg of rear downforce (very fast corners at that) you would almost certainly lose down the straight from the drag. Never mind that...

Or you could just put 60kg of sand in the trunk which would give you additional 'downforce' at all speeds :giggle:

Looks - I personally prefer the GT which is why I bought one, Performance - no real difference on the road, quality - It's the same car built in the same factory by the same people.

No, there will not be a 'repeat procedure' if the battery is damaged, just a replacement battery! If it was only down to 11.5v then it will be fine if properly recharged.

For everybody who wants a spoiler there will be others that don't - personal choice and it will make no real difference to the car performance, other than adding a bit of drag!

It reduces lift a bit I suspect and adds drag! The under floor strakes probably do more.

Give the battery a good charge when you get it home as modern charging systems take a long time to recover a discharged battery unlike the old days.
