Just went on website, $1465 for a Palm Beach dyno tune with tuner and credits and 93/E85 for DH... I love Steeda and have been super loyal spending thousands of $ over the years but you guys may of lost your ways here if this isn't a mistake... wow
what about a Flex Tune?
Seems like whenever I ask the question to tuners I get ignored.
They work great if you follow the process when switching fuels, had one for over a year with no issues on my Mach 1
I came from a 10-speed Mach 1, dumped a ton of money into it but I just couldn’t make myself like the auto no matter how fast it was. Finally back in a manual and the best one at that is priceless for a driver enthusiast. I test drove a manual M2 and even though it may be a little faster, it was...
I just tucked the wire under my weather proof liner and set the controller on the area in front of shifter.
Comfort 8 is the sweet spot imo
Let me know your thoughts
You’ve got to install it. Absolutely transforms this car.
It feels faster in every way, from clutching out of first to 6th gear on highway.
I’m actually very very content now and can wait patiently while all these tuners sort out the chaos of the new tuning
Yeah, I’ve been noticing the same.
And when some post with no stock dyno comparison, I find this to be pointless.
Dyno is a tool!
Really curious to see what Ford Performance says its gains are.
I’ll be waiting for a flex tune so I can get the benefits of E.
Like if I got bad E85 and the tune increases timing which would be really bad for the engine.
That’s why I liked my flex tune before. Eased the mind a little
Ok, cool.
Yeah, I remember the gas mileage but that doesn’t bother me.
I like to drive so that doesn’t bother me.
And 93 is a good way to flush the system in the winter as I drive it when it’s dry and not too salty.
Also seemed like oil needed changing more often.
Thanks for the info
Thank you for being so transparent.
All this is very interesting to read about.
Curious on your E85 tune, most I get by me is e70, is that still ok to run on and will I get similar results?
All good ZX, Thank you for responding so quickly.
Reason I ask is some tuners are saying the RTD3 will be supported eventually.
$300 little over a year ago for a paperweight is such a bullshit cash grab imo.
Lack of R&D on the S650 and The whole unknown OTA situation really concerns me.
I do...
I’ve asked like 14 times now on multiple threads but you guys won’t answer simple questions. Not sure why
I repeat..
Will the RTD +3 device be supported now or soon?
Will a tune require turning off Fords OTA updates?
Sorry, I read further and see you don’t have Flex tune.
I had no issues running Wengerd’s Flex tune for 3 years on my Mach 1.
Really makes it easy to switch fuel.
It’s just a fill up that triggers it and if your worried about fuel in the line then just top it off
I’m going the same route, wait till fall.
Wengerd is who tuned my Mach 1 with a flex tune so I’ll wait for that so I can run e70 in the summer months
Not sure why many others don’t do flex , it works perfectly!
