You learn something new every day... well done @Hulkster you did!
As some have said, it has been a thing on many cars for quite some time... but it's always good to learn something new!
For a little further info... my car came with a squre setup (no angle), and now has the 0.8" larger in the rear... I did set the tire size in the PCM for my current tires.
I don't think that is it... stock cars with square setup have same size tires front and rear (no angle)... yet the GT PP has much taller rear tires (0.7") and no problem with radar angle. My car is 0.8" difference, no problem.
Has anyone with this "bad angle" issue actually tried setting the...
The difference in diameter is much greater than what is configured in the PCM... DH HP comes configured for a much smaller tire than a GT PP... more than an inch. You need to stay close to that size or reconfigure the tire size in the PCM.
EU regs = EU regulations
Which require more safety features which in turn make the cars heavier = the point he was trying to make about charging by weight.
Those wheels look great... though not sure why you held out for those as there are plenty of others of the same style that weigh less... cost? gotta stay Ford?
It still blows my mind (see what I did there)... back in the day, all of the engine work, suspension work, and just a LOT of work to get timeslips like that... now just buy a new car, slap a simple bolt on and go... FAST!
If you get a spinning thing that times out on the update screen, you will never get updates... disconnect the battery for 20 min. to reset that.
Electrical gremlins have been a problem for a few members whose cars have had leaks on the BCM. Has that recall been performed? Even so, may be...
The gap at the front of the hood may take a bit more than just adjusting the hood stops... but here is the big discussion on those.
Has anyone noticed hood lift? | Mustang7G - 2024+ S650 Mustang Forum (Dark Horse, GT, EcoBoost, GT500, GT350, Mach 1)
Does your base model Ecoboost have a resonator or a y-pipe underneath?
Not sure if I have the apples to apples comparison... I have an S550 Ecoboost base model (could be a bit different than an S650), and an S650 Ecoboost with HPP and active exhaust. The Base model has a 1 in 2 out resonator...
I think EU has had roundabouts for quite some time... people actually know how to use them... here in the US they are relatively new... and a complete mystery to some!
