    On my S550 I had a small pigtail lead that sat under the rear of the bonnet near the windscreen. Not visible but easy access. On my S650 it is like the above pigtail.

    That wouldn't be a problem - the sensors used are the BLIS sensors which have a very specific angle of activity. Plus if you had broken down it wouldn't be active anyway!

    No, raise the rubber stops, if you move the latch it will then not align in the middle

    I fitted some fairly solid round rubber pads where the hood stops sit on the front cross member. This then means you can screw the hood stops in a bit and they become less compressible. Worked well for me now it is rock solid
