lol, I thought I had deleted that response as I was interrupted when I was typing it so I deleted it, so I thought, and was going to respond later. So the point that I was getting at is that every time new intakes or other products are released, there are posts such as the filters don’t filter...
This can be said with any aftermarket intake or any aftermarket part in general. Why supercharge a Mustang....why There are millions of cars from over the years who have/ have had hundred of thousands of miles with K&N or similar air filters installed on them.
Here are the pics from K&N and...
I can't speak for the EB but I have a base (300A) GT with the black onyx cloth interior. To me, it is just fine. I find the base model 2024s much better equipped than previous years. Leather/ Faux Leather seats aren't a big draw for me and I didn't want to spend over mid $40s on this car...
Hey thanks! I do friggen love the feel of this MGW shifter. Much more connected feel to the car while shifting. Imma do a video eventually here to show the reduction. I am working on wearing it in a little more. In my experience, the MGWs loosen up slightly over the first week or so.
I have no doubt that this will gain power (not sure about the estimated gains) with the hood up and filters exposed to cool fan air. With the hood down and 90+ degree F in the summer here in upstate SC, throttle response and power may suffer. As it sits, the stock intakes on a stockish car...
Yeah, the Ecoboost has more umph at low RPMs as it reaches peak torque much earlier than the Coyote. The Coyote doesn't really get into its own until you get up in the RPMs a bit. It pulls quite well after 4k. Kinda hard to test on test drives unless you are able to wind it out during the test...
I did with mine....took 15 secs to pull the negative and positive battery cables. I did that rather than trying to stretch and pull on the harness to squeeze the braces under.
Yeah, the airport is right down the road…planes flying over constantly, lol. As far as drone, yes there is. Particularly around 2k rpms at partial throttle. Not horrible but it is there. The quiet mode mitigates it pretty well though, so having the option to put it in quiet mode at times is...
Yep, the same mounting locations. The tips are larger than stock (4” vs 3.5”) and do stick out a little further….at least how I have it aligned. I could probably push them in a little further but being that the pipes under the car are 3”, there isn’t a whole lot of wiggle room without causing...
There is drone, though not fox body with no cats and Flowmaster 40s or 10s drone. I like some drone so I should remain happy with this kit. Plus quiet mode takes most of the drone away.
Oh this sucker is LOUD, lol, and deep. In normal, sport, and track modes at least. In quiet mode, it’s a lot more tame and removes the drone for the most part.
Flowmaster Outlaw system w/ active exhaust and a Steeda H-pipe.
I’ll get a video added soon. I still need to tweak the alignment...
