I did my first one at the dealership where I work and I watched one of the guys do it. The tray is crazy. The next one I'm going to do at home and while it's off measure and cut a u shape in the tray where the filter is so that I can cut a few holes in it and zip tie the flap shut and then for...
Helm does not have them. I found a pdf on the Ford site, and just bit the bullet and printed it and punched it for a loose leaf binder. At least I can sit in the car and look at it while I try things. I like paper, I'm an analog guy in a digital world...
Chances are good that the dealership does not have an individual as an owner, almost all are owned by a dealer group of some kind, and no one at the dealer group will know or care what goes on, they leave the GM to run the store and as long as their numbers are acceptable, will not get involved...
This '24 is my 8th Mustang, and given that you can get anyting and everything for prior years, I am stunned that the aftermarket for all types of items is just not out there, unless its someting that also fits a '15-'24.
Guys like us have mobny burning a hole in our pockets and no one is...
Here is my .02, you have recieved neither cover or satisfaction because this cover does not yet exist, and they don't know what to do about it. When I got my car, I went to the parts counter and ordered a black out trunk panel insert. It has a part # and a price, and I was told 1-2 weeks. Last...
In Texas, lemon law requires multiple unsuccessful repair attempts, so it would not apply here. Lemon law does not work the way people think it works, over the years I have seen 3 people accept the terms of the law for a buyback.
Customer assistance may be able to lean on them for the rental...
Do they actually know what is wrong with it that needs done? I work for a Ford dealer and I am the same as you, I love the car, but in 45 years in this business across multiple lines, Ford provides the least support to the customer and dealer of any manufacturer I've ever worked with, and I take...
I'm waiting on the JLT cold air intake, but they keep pushing back the date. One site says March 2024, and another says winter 2024. In the meantime, I pulled the carbon traps and opened up the holes in the sides of the grille. For the money, the K&N's are not worth it to me.
I know that a lot...
I've only had my car on a lift once, and when I installed the rails, I could see the pinch weld was scarred in several places. I touched it up, and think the rails will be useful.
I installed the Steeda full length jacking rails on my car today, and was very impressed with the quality and fit. They are heavy and sturdy pieces, and I'm wondering if they aerve any additional purpose by stiffening the chassis? They look a lot like bolt on subframe connectors.
Any ideas?
Be advised, if you have wheel locks, the hex on the key may be different than the factory lug nuts. I got a folding 4 way wrench from Harbor Freight and wrapped it in a towel and put it with the spare. Hopefully I'll never need it...
