  1. Strut Tower Brace Plaque

So Ford deleted the badge to save $, I'm curious as to why they wouldn't offer the GT badge that was intended to go there for $?

  5. Typewriter Tick/ BBQ tick fact compilation?

Just took ours out for a decent drive after the first oil change and we now have the tick. I heard it as I drove it into the garage, it was not a consistent tick, seems to be most noticeable around 1300 rpm. We used Amsoil synthetic 5w30 and Motorcraft filter
  6. Older guy with manual

For this type of car I would have no other, we are going to all be extinct soon enough (old guys driving manuals)
  7. Infotainment System is Challenging!

Couldn't agree more, this system is poor at best, with a convertible the voice command is even worse! The system is disjointed having gaps in its logic. It feels like things like the radio should be easy to bring up.
  8. Are you using auto rev match on your S650?

First thing we turned off, prefert to do it myself.
  9. Wheel torque for 19" Velgen VF5's?

The Gorilla lug nuts that I purchased from Steeda are WAY beefier than what I got with the Velgen wheels, both are the narrow 6 spline. I spoke to the vender that sold me the wheels (they also install) They too said 120 - 125 max.
  10. Wheel torque for 19" Velgen VF5's?

Ordered some Gorilla splined lug nuts from Steeda earlier this week. Sales person I spoke with at Steeda told me that the Gorilla lug nuts would meet the 150# torque specifications from ford. I emailed Gorilla to verify, their response today was 120 max! Steeda may want to communicate with...
  11. A couple questions from a newbie

I would consider the steering on the 2024 vague at best, fortunately we had no expectations with regard to the steering. From my perspective, you really don't get a sense of what is going on through the steering.

The Geomitry is not straight forward there, Heinz’s mm unfortunately the geometry is irregular at this opening so what ever is used needs to conform to the shape.

Ok, thank you for the info!
  16. Wheel torque for 19" Velgen VF5's?

On your Velgen wheel do they have the smaller OD lug nut 6 spline? I have no concern torquing to 150# on a standard size lug nut but the smaller OD lug was my concern
  17. Wheel torque for 19" Velgen VF5's?

    That’s a 6 spine on yours?
  18. Front inner wheel well issues

The case # is a scam in my opinion, I started this back in September and was hopefull at the time but since have been grounded with the reality that the process of filling a case is just a pacifier that Ford provides but basically it’s a dead end. So yes, fix it with whatever makes sense to you...
  19. Wheel torque for 19" Velgen VF5's?

The Ford specification for the wheels are 150 #, Velgen uses a smaller outside diameter on their lugs. I torqued to 120 # but I don't think 150 would be a good outcome. What are those who have this set up doing? Thank you
  20. Battery Tender?

Hmm, Amazon instructions say to box it up in its original packaging but some packages com to near distraction for opening, hopefully it will be a one in done swap🤞
