  1. Base seats?

That’s what I figured but thought that maybe I missed it somehow. The recent yellow car that was seen (yesterday maybe) briefly showed a light color interior that may have been the base but it quickly moves along to showing the outside only. Kinda hard to tell.
  2. Base seats?

Have we seen the non-premium base GT seats yet? I know we have all been focusing on the dash variants, but what about the seats?
  3. Official OXFORD WHITE Mustang S650 Thread

They finally washed one before taking it out on public streets?
  4. Custom Colors?

I asked Granger and they said Ford does not have a custom paint option at any price.
  5. What's your favourite S650 photo so far?

Oh, absolutely not. Doesn’t matter in the end. There’s a certain shape that’s expected on this type of vehicle, and *many* examples out there of just that. Some are stretched here or there, but mostly the same in the end. But I have been seeing the complaint from the evening of the reveal how so...
  6. What's your favourite S650 photo so far?

I truly believe that once people start getting their hands on these cars, it will turn out they are way more different from the S550 than many think.
  7. Red & Black Stripes Spied on Carbonized Gray 2024 Mustang GT w/Bronze Appearance Package

I like the car, I really do, but these stripes look like some generic eBay garbage. This is the first negative thing for me.
  8. Racing Stripes Spied on Yellow Splash 2024 Mustang GT & EcoBoost (S650)

Not a fan of these stripes, they just don’t look like they fit. Wide stripes for me please.
  9. Racing Stripes Spied on Yellow Splash 2024 Mustang GT & EcoBoost (S650)

They are broken up on the hood, it’s just farther up by the windshield. If you zoom in you can see the yellow line.
  10. S650 Mustang Horsepower (450hp) Revealed In Window Sticker? 🙄

Perhaps it’s 450 GT, 480 GT Performance, 500 DH… I know PP1/2 previously didn’t have a power increase, but that doesn’t mean it can’t ever work that way.
  11. New Lincoln Zephyr - China Only

I could see it for SEMA or something.
  12. Mustang Chief Engineer Confirms Locked ECU, making S650 tune more difficult

Of course, I agree with you. But don’t for one second think that people that don’t know what they are talking about can make that distinction.
  13. Mustang Chief Engineer Confirms Locked ECU, making S650 tune more difficult

You could probably get someone to agree that active cruise control fits under this umbrella.
  14. All-New Ford Mustang (S650) GT Supercars Race Car Revealed at Bathurst 1000

Makes me a little thankful I’m not on a pit crew for one of these teams!
  15. For those upset with the new design… at least it doesn't look like new BMW M2

Not sure on the whole story because he wouldn’t tell me, but I had one of these in the shop recently with under 5000 miles on it on its 3rd turbo after the owner installed a JB4. It literally looked like someone jammed a screwdriver in the spinning turbo and totally destroyed it. According to...
  16. Mustang Chief Engineer Confirms Locked ECU, making S650 tune more difficult

Obviously, this whole thing being hypothetical, there’s no telling how it could go, if at all. But I feel like with the DH-R and S, being aimed at racing teams, there will have to be a way to make changes to ECU strategy on the fly. Either with approved software or through an unlocked ECU. Just...
  17. Mustang Chief Engineer Confirms Locked ECU, making S650 tune more difficult

Seems like as said above, the best approach to “keep the peace” with mustang fans would be to have a certification program where third party tuners can apply to be certified for access. A few disclaimers and statements about what consequences and ramifications can be expected with signatures...
