  1. Tall gearing on MT82

Ya. In fact I’m not even sure what exact build I’m getting, the dealership doesn’t even know what they are selling. All they told me is Ford dictates what we are getting. From what I see on the car I got a rear wing delete, I got black out lights so I thought maybe it’s equipped with nite pony...
  2. Whats with everything aftermarket nearly being all carbon fiber

Because wet carbon parts makes the most profit and their lighter weight convinces buyer it’s lighter and better than say aluminium, etc.
  3. Whipple, Tire Size Changes, Tune needed?

Only huge tire circumference changes matter. This is especially true for automatics because it affects shift point preprogrammed into the transmission control unit. Have a look at forscan settings as well, change the tire size to the one closest in the drop down list and then adjust your afe...
  4. Scrape on plastic glove box door.

Textured surface cannot be polished out. your either replace them or you sand the whole surface and coat it with satin or matte clear coat and hope that new texture matches the other panels in the car.

I hope it’s as good as it sounds, one of the things I wish the Mustang have is a front double wishbone setup. When I moved from my RX-8 to sti and Focus RS it was really apparent steering feel is missing, maybe it’s also the driven front wheels that numb the feel in these two. Never would have...
  8. Tall gearing on MT82

Thank you everyone for chiming in especially robvas with the excel sheet, that certainly made me rethink my use case scenario and objectively look at what speed I usually drive my cars at. Rethinking why I wanna get a Mustang in the first place and the conclusions were reaffirmed by the...
  9. Tall gearing on MT82

Wow that is indeed a very tall gearing. Thanks for the video, it is enlightening.
  10. Tall gearing on MT82

That would be a Yes But Not Easy as I would have to ship the parts required from the states and have to look for someone who knows how to install it properly. I live in a very low population country (around 460K population) so they aren't many good mechanics around.
  11. Tall gearing on MT82

Hi, I'm new here and I have a question before i sign on the dotted line for a 2026 Mustang GT and it is regarding the MT82 D4. I've read a lot of threads on the MT82 and Tremec so it is not so much about reliability or problems but rather how does the tall gearing in the MT82 actually feels when...
