They are disgusting but can always be swapped out so it’s just minor inconvenience. If I had to get the car spec’d out the way I want with these hideous wheels, I would rock it until the tires on them are bald.
The BMS is there to prolong your battery's life due to the start/stop system, it tells the alternator when to pump out the full voltage for charging and when to lower it for trickle accordingly when your battery is being depleted. Indirectly this also prolongs your alternator's life.
The catch...
Same here. I wanted the linear throttle map of normal, the suspension of sport and the nannies of track. My Focus RS has a custom mode that had to be enabled via forscan, hopefully one day someone can find it on the Mustang
lol I wish I can say more but it would be a lie if I say anything else. On the Jeep side anyone that mentions power gain from intake gets flamed. Real world testing of quarter mile wouldn’t mean much for Jeepers since their rig are usually so heavy and meant for low speed crawling. Although AFE...
Don't have it on my Mustang but a drop in filter on my Jeep with the 3.6L Pentastar. The Pro Dry S filter is the one i bought, the general consensus on Jeep forum is:
Ease of installation 8.5/10
Fitment 8.5/10
Quality 9/10
My real world performance gains 2 to 3 mpg.
General thoughts regarding...
AFE definitely, K&N is not bad in terms of product but their choice of improving flow is having less layers. Bankspower actually uses K&N as their filter media provider for the Jeep products but Banks requested them be 7 layers instead of the normal 3 to 4 layers K&N sold them at. As for oil vs...
I was cross shopping these as well, ultimately just chose the Mustang GT because no DH was available in my country and I don’t need the fastest. IMO on the streets anything with loads of power+awd+torque vectoring is gonna be more usable power. I have a Focus RS so I could dump some money on it...
You might be able to replicate the cooling capacity of SC on a non SC hardware wise but the car’s response to cooling is still based off implied data. Unless you can bypass those I would just get a SC and not worry about it.
Ford did the same thing on the Focus RS and deactivate the RDU after 3...
No we can’t even special order anything, we just get what we get. I asked for local brochure from salesperson which usually comes with the spec of the car. Went to showroom and looked at the cars, the auto and manual are so different on the exterior but cost the same. Asked him and his manager...
I used the Battery Tender solar power 5w that charges via the OBD port on both my Jeep and Focus RS. It’s been fine and kept the battery topped up well as I parked under the sun at my workplace.
Just my opinion, I recently just crossshop these too.
M2: Faster in every metric (watch the savagegeese comparison), its ugly imo but the performance more than makes up for it. Lack of front steering feedback but the Mustang isn't much better in this area.
DH: Buy it if you fancy the engine...
