The welcome lighting is turned on in Settings—> Vehicle—> Lighting but it doesn’t work when I get close to the car with the fob. The welcome lighting does work when I unlock the car. This just started happening. The second key fob is not in/near the car. Thoughts?

I had a similar issue where it almost seemed like the vehicle got lost once it went into production and then showed as built, but no other updates and then I contacted Ford through the Ford app chat, and it turned out, mine was at the terminal waiting for shipping.

Congratulations! if you have the Ford App loaded, at some point, you might see the windshield washer fluid level as ‘Good’ . This was the first sign for me that the car was connected and moving down the line. Kinda like its first heartbeat!….😂

Ok, I finally got it to pop off (literally). I think soaking it in PB Blaster overnight helped.

Are you quoting the GEN7 service manual? I am trying to use a 2 leg puller and it isn’t budging. I’m gonna soak it with penetrating oil overnight to see if that helps. I’m afraid to really torque on the T handle thinking it should come off fairly easy. I dunno.

It’s actually interfering with lifting the driver side wiper up when washing the windshield. I can jog the wiper a bit to get around it but most importantly….it’s covering the pony Easter egg on the passenger side. 😂
