I'm in Eastern NC. Glad to hear you made it safe in WNC. It will never be the same place there with all of the roads being washed away along with peoples houses & business'. Very sad!
Keeping Florida in my thoughts and prayers!
So, I have seen it discussed of 2 different ways to restart your infotainment when you have issues such as Android Auto disconnecting. I have tried both ways and cannot get it to restart. In the manual it suggests you press the radio/volume power button & the forward button on your steering...
I have noticed that my door interior will show marks whether it be scratches and/or finger grease. When you clean with a detailer it shows a discoloration in certain light. Not sure if its the type of material that door is made of or what.....
Do you have a photo of your setup in your car? I've looked at their website & I can't figure out what I would need. I want to be able to charge wirelessly without having to use the useless, overheating charger installed in the car already.
Yes, I had this issue with Android Auto two days ago. It had since cleared up. But I do have a question about resetting the screen. I saw somewhere on this forum to hold the fast forward (on steering wheel) & radio power off button for 10 seconds but that didn't work.
"I just reset the screen...
If you do pull your factory charger & replace it with something else, please post pictures or tell me what you replaced it with. I would possibly like to replace mine.
I have a magsafe on my phone case & also phone has been positioned multiple spots to no luck. I have had the car almost a year so I have tried multiple things. I have tried it without a phone case too. Evidently, if Ford is not putting the charger in the 2025's, as mentioned above, they must...
Heats my Galaxy S22 Ultra too in my 24' GT! Terrible charging system! If I had a place to mount a aftermarket wireless charger in the car like I did in my 2019 GT I would sure do it. But that is the price you pay when you get a car with the fancy infotainment screen.
Oh! And today, at lunch, my Android Auto will not connect wirelessly at all. I have restarted the phone and car. I also unpaired & re-paired the phone. Sheesh!
My one year anniversary is 10/09. I have about 11,500 miles on it. It is my daily driver. I'm still in love with the car. Just wish the infotainment systems bugs would get fixed with the updates.
You are lucky to not have these issues. I have had problems with my colors & my drive modes not staying set and android auto disconnecting everyday when I drive by a certain area. I love my car but @Ford Motor Company should do better!!
Seems every time Ford does an update another issue arises...
