Mine state "Temperature A" on the side wall, so summer tires not meant for use in temperatures less than 45 degrees. Not sure how strict that is if your garage is well over 50 and you go out for a drive which will heat the tires. I'm new to summer tires so maybe I am optimistic on when I can...
Do you have the sticky summer only tires? I have notices similar behavior on mine and figure it has to do with the tires. My tires are pulling up the old garage floor coating, granted it's at least 10 years old and never before actually had a car parked on it, but I can now see concrete again...
@highvoltage and @ToyPonyForTony thanks for the feedback, guess I will look into getting one installed in the aftermarket or follow your creativity and fashion my own.
Had a Shelby pull up next to me at the light the other day, we chatted a bit and he was saying keeping the wheels from spinning with the 650 plus HP was a challenge. Was a great looking car and sounded amazing.
Anyone sign up for this yet. My son goes to UNCSA, which is an hour or so from the track so planning a visit to see him and take advantage of this opportunity during the spring and looking for any insights on when they hold sessions (weekends only?). Will probably give them a call in the next...
Pricing quotes I got from them. Didn't get any number for Ceramic coating.
PPF:
We have several Xpel Ultimate Plus PPF packages to choose from. These are custom installations to maximize coverage and quality. We only use the flag ship Xpel Ultimate Plus film that comes with a 10 year warranty...
Still only have 500 miles on my DH; however, I am looking forward to actually getting the RPMs into the power band of over 5000. I have tried to stay under 5K during the break in period. Given spending the last 5 years driving a Nissan Rogue (old rental car) the power under 5K RPM is still very fun.
Sorry for pulling up an old thread; however, want to validate that I have a tow hook capable receptacle. I am very nervous about prying off that cover. Anyone have experience with how to not screw up the paint prying off that cover? I have a DH with AP, but no HP so didn't get the actual hooks...
I think it, in Texas, it is just a free justification to pull you over. I got stopped by a highway patrol during the day in a Nissan Rogue. No ticket or formal warning, just volunteered was coming home from some target shooting and, of course was waiting for delivery of the front plate mount...
And in Texas, pretty sure it doesn't satisfy the requirement of being at least 12 inches from the ground to the bottom of the plate. Can't see Craig's custom solution as they are on holiday.
Probably just use the tow hook solution, leave it off until pulled over and try to make up some story...
Found I had caused with my ring a chip on the hood body in front of the hood while dropping the car off for PPF coverage, I drop shipped (https://blueovalindustries.com/collections/touch-up-paint) blue ember to them and they fixed it prior to putting the PPF on.
It is possible though. I also have a 3/28 order, but with HP and Recaros. I found an abandoned order at a local dealer in Dallas for MSRP on a DH in BE and manual so I bought it. My original order is still in the system.
This dealer was charging $10K ADM on orders, so it is possible someone...
I volunteer as tribute to help test that. I acquired a non-HP DH, but did not tell my dealer to cancel my original order which was DH, BE, AP, HP, Recaro seats. I can check on it occasionally to see if it is still Unscheduled/Clean.
