I confirmed X plan with my dealer and no additional markups and no required add ons. It definitely helped that Iām going to the most reputable dealer in my area.
Iām a nerd and love seeing the exact specs of what they change/add on some of these packages. Specifically, the PP. Does anyone have a deep dive on this ala @Savagegeese Jack ?
Also, I see some reports that the PP adds an engine oil cooler, but I canāt seem to confirm this - anyone know one...
As Iām looking at the S650 GT with PP and AVE I find myself in the low 50s price wise. Online, Iāve found a few gold certified Mach 1s for around the same price.
It definitely is tempting to pick up a lightly used Mach 1 with a nice warranty under the gold program. I have seen one or two...
@Savagegeese Jack Iām sure you guys will be reviewing the GT as well. But Iām curious if during your talks with the engineering team if they told you of any updates to the GT in terms of avoiding overheating during track days.
The DH obviously has a ton of track specific gear, but definitely...
Yeah, definitely not worried about autox. Guess weāll just have to take āem out to track days and see how they do. Not like Iām going to pony up the extra $10k+ for a DH!
Iām completely new to Mustangs. I plan to do a handful of track days and autox each year.
On the track day front how have previous gen GTs with PP done? Any issues with components/systems overheating?
I got a few questions on the AVE. Iām new to mustangs and understand the AVE allows it to be quieter than the stock one as well as louder depending on setting, is this correct?
Additionally, I think I saw in prior generations you could set time restriction for when you want the car to start...
Very interested in a GT with PP. This would be my first Ford. Only owned Subaru WRX and STI, currently have a Civic that Iāve used for a cheap commuter car. Now that Iām finally making decent money I want a fun car again. V8 with RWD will be a big change of pace for me, canāt wait!
Iāve been dead set on a CTR, but have really been turned off by dealers and BS markups.
Iāve recently watched the new mustang reviews and really like the looks, and Iād prefer RWD and V8 over FWD turbo.
My plans for the CTR was being a fun car that I could drive my 2 kids (7&9) in if needed...
