  1. Billetworkz Short Tear Drop too tall?

The stock knob disappeared in my hand. This one feels better in every way, and I can’t say I have noticed it was much higher. But looking at my install pics it appears to be about an inch taller. I did start with the lock nut all the way down so it is as low as it goes.
  2. FORD: One of the worst

Out for a cruise today and got behind this Prius with a ā€œMā€ tag. šŸ™„ Fortunately I turned and he went straight.
  3. Dark Horse vs 'Hurricane' Charger vs Hellcat - ThrottleHouse

I think the comparison further proves the GT’s uniqueness as the last Pony car standing. Throttle House’s other video on the gas Charger shows it better. An AWD version that competes with this Charger would be cool. It’s probably more Ecoboost RTR than GT based. But at that point you are likely...
  4. FORD: One of the worst

Chiming in on the fawning over Euro electronics. I have BMWs with the newest iDrive 9 (android based) and 8.5. Both have issues losing settings with OTA updates. iDrive is amazing in its features, but I spend most of the time in Car Play. The iDrive 9 drives my wife nuts with the complexity...
  5. Rearview Mirror Adjustment

this. I've got a few inches on you, and the rear view was one of the first thing I noticed when I sat down to get my seating position right. The left trick made it adequate with the top up. And it is great with the top down which is the vast majority of my driving.
  6. Happy New Year!

I hope everyone has a great 2026! Getting prepped for tonight with a top down B2E2RUN that it is not warm enough for 😁 … and a dog restraint test fit for this man’s best friend. It will be a great year
  7. Stalling wear on clutch

Not sure of the context, but I'll answer 2 ways. Me- I think it is a cool addition to the car. Using it- eventually, end of tire life probably. I am hoping that it is part of the Mustang track experience in Charlotte when I do it. Son- If he gets competent, I'll pay for him to go to Charlotte...
  8. Stalling wear on clutch

Yeah, that is what I am worried about. I'll keep future sessions short if they don't go well.
  9. Stalling wear on clutch

Thanks. My method did not get us there so I am grateful for the ideas. ...I have also though about putting it out to manual owners in my area to see if they would like to volunteer their cars🤣🤣🤣
  10. Stalling wear on clutch

To your point, these cars go by themselves if you let the clutch out slowly. That enabled us to practice shifting around 2nd and 3rd. We will stick to it!
  11. Stalling wear on clutch

    I learned on a F100 column shift myself😁
  12. Stalling wear on clutch

Soooo, I have been so thrilled to be back in a manual that I wanted to share the passion with my son. Lesson 1 was a little frustrating…but I am committed. For the experts, how impactful are a few low rpm stalls on the clutch or drivetrain?
  13. What did you do to your S650 Mustang today?? šŸ™‹šŸ»‍ā™‚ļø

Thx, lots of compliments on the Bronze and Carmine Red. From Jaeger Brothers. I went with these because they are easy on and off until I get PPF in a couple weeks. Figure they will be great for wet drives or longer highway drives. I don’t love the look of the rears. But they can be removed...
  14. What did you do to your S650 Mustang today?? šŸ™‹šŸ»‍ā™‚ļø

Nothing exciting, just making it mine… -battery tender installed -deleted dealer tag frame - Billetworkz shift knob (looks + feels great) -rock guards after seeing the mess from a wet road - looking good after first wash!
  15. IS THE DARK HORSE ROAD RAGE BAIT?

So I took a couple drives today. I took the wife’s X3 for a bath. I don’t drive it often so I put it in sport plus to prevent carbon build up.šŸ˜‰ It is fairly loud and pops and bubbles with the valves open on the quad exhaust. I had some fun from lights and around curves, but did not really exceed...
  16. GT Convertible Order Questions

I have the top B&O in my '21 KR, lots of speakers even in the head rest, maybe the same one as in yours. And I paid for the 12spkr in my vert. I am not an audiophile, but I do like music. The Mustang is not bad. The one in the truck is clearly better. I am sure the cabin vs. fabric top are part...
  17. What air freshener are you guys using ?

All my cars smell like obsessive compulsive cleaning. Leather treatment and pet fresh carpet deodorizer. Love to take my pup for a ride when I can so lots of vacuuming.
  18. Partial PPF or Full PPF

My quote was 3K for partial and ceramic. Prep included. 6K for the whole thing.
  19. Partial PPF or Full PPF

Gorgeous truck. Those lines just get better over time. Mine was a stepside with a straight 6. Former SC DOT truck. Just an old truck in the early eighties...$700. Wrecked in front. My father and I pulled the front end back into shape with a come-along until I got straight parts from a junkyard...
