the gas guzzler tax was created in the late 70s to incentivize auto manufacturers to produce cars with better fuel economy and for consumers to buy them. By law it has to show on the window sticker so that customers explicitly know they being taxed for purchasing an inefficient car.

I donāt recall which interview I saw it on but the Dark Horse and the Performance Pack GT both have Brembo 6 piston calipers in the front and 4 piston in the rear. In the S550 you only got Brembo in the front unless it was a Shelby 350/500.
This is certainly not the good news I was hoping for this morning. Iām going to take the positive position and wait to see how this shakes out.

I was checking out the build and price tonight and it looks like there have been some updates. There are more photos of options and better feature descriptions.
The generated image of the exterior sill doesn't update.
I would definitely have ordered one. Especially if it had the electric privacy/tint feature.
I love the idea of a full convertible but I donāt want to daily drive one.
The are only providing information. The person on the phone is not scheduling anything.
I think most folks on here were the first in line at their dealer to put in orders. I certainly was. That just makes it more likely that a lot of our builds got selected as Ford ramps up production and...
