It should list the month and year ie 06/23. The VIN sticker on the door jamb does not care about model year.

Initial production run of customer cars for the model year. Usually 1/2 thru the model year they make can make adjustments/changes and start job 2. Whenever you see something that says “late availability” that’s often something planned for job 2.

I think the DH is being allocated like the Shelbys were. They are manually scheduled and thus get an 01 when they are scheduled for production. It would not be the dealer directly assigning 01. Perhaps the dealer had there allocation picked and used it for CajunStang's build

Mine worked the same day. I saw that several people had issues accessing the site over the weekend with that same error. Ford seems to do site maintenance without ever putting up any kind of maintenance notice. Just look at how often the build and price has been down lately.
