Thanks for going out to the Chevrolet factory and getting a video of all those new Camaros for us! 😄
Jokes aside, not a single DH in this video I don't think, and none with the opacity fade stripes either. Otherwise I think I saw pretty much every possible option.
I don't see the issue with this. Tedious yes, unnecessarily complicated no. For as many people that know how to work on their own car there are ten times as many that do not. This acts as a failsafe and as a way to protect against someone screwing up their own car and getting Ford to cover it...
See this link: https://fordauthority.com/2023/02/2024-ford-mustang-ecoboost-in-iconic-silver-real-world-pics/amp/
The stripes gradually shift on a gradient to the color of the car as it approaches the edges.
Took me a while to find these. I don't think we have many pictures of the Opacity Fade...
There are no white stripes, that's the opacity fade option.
I'm not sure there's an image of that combination out there yet. Personally I haven't seen any prototypes driving around with that combination either.
I see your point but I'm not quite sure this is a fair comparison. CVTs are objectively garbage, screens have plenty of use.
As a SWE myself I can sort of agree with this 😆 All I can really say is that at least at my company we strive to avoid these problems. What's to say Ford isn't trying to...
Ah, we're not on the same page about the indicators then. I'm hypothesizing that they will still be differentiable from the US spec ones, but the amber section will be sequential - similar to that of the Mach E. From what has been presented to us in the images, that's what I'm sort of expecting...
Why wouldn't they mirror the center console? As it stands right now, if you're sitting on the passenger side, the main screen is facing away from the driver. If they want this car to be convenient for their European customers they absolutely should do it.
Also, on the indicators, the wiring...
Well since this was literally pushed into my inbox, I guess I'll toss my guesses into the bin...
Given how late into development this car presumably is (production is supposed to start soon, no?) I'd say that everything that we're seeing in these pictures is going to be produced, i.e...
This definitely is not a customer car, but it seems you guys have established this already.
Ford must be pulling out all the stops what with sending an early build Dark Horse to a dealership 4 hours away.
From what I've seen driving around as well, some of the prototypes seem to have resolved the fitment issues. Ford seems to indeed be taking this seriously.
It seems to me like every time a representative comes here, something happens in the following week or two. If I'm right, you might just get that wish.
If you're getting bags there's no point in MagneRide, at least in my head. Someone correct me if I'm wrong please - In order to install bags you'll likely need to remove the entire MagneRide system. From what I saw on M6G, if the S650 operates the same way as last-gen this would also require you...
Reading that article, none of this is really a surprise to me and it all makes sense.
Speaking of that thread, you mentioned in there that you have friends or know people that talk about the Mustang "in the same sentence" as cars like Ferraris, AMGs, and the like. This is surprising to me...
