Lucky dog!
itās my favorite current mustang. They knocked it out of the park with this one.
You MUST post detailed impressions.
thatās insane, dude.
congratulations. Shelby and everything.
Dang. Somebody is doing it right. And marketing it right.
and 178 lbs of light weighting ( not including the additional weight of the whipple, etc.)
price?
be interesting to see how this stacks up against the new gt350.
the s197 hit the nostalgia market in perfect timing. The challenger and Camaro saw that, followed suit, and benefitted as well.
However, for about 5 years, the s197 was woefully underpowered, didnāt handle well, and was basivally carried by being a homage to the 1960s, minus the performance. But...
Pretty much. Either there is more subtlety to the job or itās a viewed as a way to blend strategies as one vision.
but if itās just ādoubling downā on EVs, I think Ford is in serious danger
you donāt take the coo of the least successful division and put them in charge of strategy if the...
The whole "WHAT IF" idea in that Probe piece is hilarious. The probe was a cool car for its time, but no Mustang replacement. The whole "what if" the probe was the #2 American Muscle car, etc. reads like a V8 hater's dream. How quickly that author forgets that the Probe itself wsn't much to...
Itās a CFO job.
Sheās used to trying to put out the fires of financial devastation on the EV side, so she should know her way around getting creative to solve the larger financial picture.
So⦠this is awesome,
I can see a huge benefit for s550 cars and 6g Camaros.
For the s650, what is the purpose of running such a capable fuel system when we canāt even tune these mustangs to make use of it?
is it strictly for a smoother pull for now?
Thank you. I watched the video that info is not there. A couple of mentions of various parts and how much lighter they are, but now total number with everything. I think it would tick a really important box for many members here. Most are looking for quality lightweighting on these cars.
The...
Well none except you uand Greg24, as proven by your posts over the last couple of years. But OK.
I'd say following Ford's line about keeping the V8 alive on their website is more realistic than your constant and frothing "it's dead! must go EV SUV!" nonsense.
The mustang isn't just some...
Ford produces in Mexico and Canada. The USA was putting tarriffs. Then both countries decided to play ball and now tarriffs are paused and may not be implemented. Sounds like Ford made a call - along with every other worthwhile company doing business our of those countries. Common sense.
Adds up over time, doesn't it. And it's not just the time. It's the extra cost in manpower, fuel, packaging, and wear and tear. But yo uknew that already.
Looks like Ford called Canada and Mexico.
ātrust if those countries ruin the incentive for ford to be there, theyāll be out quickly.
Canada gets a free subsidy of 200 million every yesr. Donāt think they want to say goodbye to that either.
The mustang is going to be all right. Just need Ford...
