thpught it was a new camouflage Ford was using at first.
I can kinda dog it from an artistic standpoint , but wouldnât be caught dead driving it around.
So⊠it just a white car with two tiny little stripes?
seriously?
mand here I thought a big part of the exclusivity factor was choosing your own unique paintâŠ
I think itâs awesome patriotism is coming back en vogue, butâŠat the least, make the paint job special. Hire a graphic designer or something
So youâve gone and done it.
youâve reached the perfect Goldilocks moment. Everything is just right.
Now you just need to resist the temptation to keep doing stuff and end up away from âjust right.â
Resist my friend. Resist.
maybe redirect the inevitable urge to do more to the powertrain...
If Ford was still officially a part of this forum, Iâd suggest they take much of this build and create an official Mustang GT appearance package out of this.
But⊠theyâre not. SooooâŠ
Oooooo⊠someone has an eye for aesthetics!
Prob my favorite s650 so far. The silver really brings out the clean lines, the 5 spoke wheels are perfect (rather than the SUV-ish wheel often chosen), the red calipers, the thin red line on the add-one, the blacked out emblems, and the saleenesque...
When Ford announced themselves here a year ago, I thought âgreat. They arenât pretending to not read these posts anymore and are genuinely engaging the community â
had no idea it would devolve into just a few generic posts - because it was really just a tech support gateway.
âââand one that...
Wow. That sucks. Ford just downgrading everywhere these daysâŠ
..but charging more.
how difficult was it to monitor a forum? Just have people tag you when they have an issue and respond with a 10 second message. Sheesh.
not a good look at all.
Karens everywhere these days. I guess they didn't get the memo that the schtick is played out and it's back to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness (along with industrial strength common sense) these days.
our logic is from the perspective of the fans. And those parting with insane amounts of money for serious performance.
Itâs not rocket science for Ford to have done better. It was shortsightedness. And to be honest, itâs getting old.
Also, logic is logic. âPerspectiveâ doesnât change that. And...
Uh, yeah... probably becuase Ford doesn't want people even thinking about the superior spec'd Vette (especially considering it will most likely cost considerably less) when considering a GTD. It's not what a seller manipulates you into comparing. It's what you actually compare. The Vette...
thatâs assuming there is no downforce package. And offering one isnât rocket science.
highly doubtful there is only 1 trim level.
With the GM team gleefully bragging about how the zr1 was developed in-house as a hypercar basically, wouldnât surprise me v8 at all that they have a âregularâ zr1...
I donât know man. The zr1 is no only more powerful in both horsepower and torque, but it has inherent advantages in its midengine platform that it doesnât have to add massive expense to resolve. The aero profile cuts through the air better, and they can always offer a downforce package.
the...
I donât think the track was wet the first couple of passes. But they also needed to use that telemetry to dial things in.
by the time things were sorted, weather was unfavorable.
6:57 is a good time, but far short of their goal.
would be great to see another run in the spring. Porsche and AMG...
