Weāve already established that the GSX gets the new engine, as does every other new Corvette that used the old 6.2L, and I mentioned that in my post. And yes, the electric motor is upgraded and gets and additional 20-something hp, but again, my point still stands: it is an Eray in all but name...
Yeah, sorryā was referring to discounts on Erays, though I see how it could be interpreted that way based on how I worded it. The premise remains the same though: the GSX is the Eray in every way other than the name, and I think discounts will be available.
The Grand Sport X is, for all intents and purposes, an Eray with a different name (yes it has the new engine, but the Stingray gets that too). They're not limited production cars, and plenty are currently available with a steep discount.
I see where youāre coming from, but I think itās also okay to point out when Ford fucks up or does something stupid or whatever. Itās also okay to express controversial opinions. Additionally, I think people are putting WAY too much faith in the accuracy of this lap time.
FWIW, I think the GTD...
Yeah, these Hagerty videos are really well done, and the ZR1X is ridiculous! I wouldāve liked to see them test a non-ZTK car so it wouldnāt have the drag from the rear wing. Regardless, itās still an amazing car.
It's actually only 2K more because the fine print states that the DHSC price doesn't include the $3,000 gas guzzler tax or the $1,995 destination and delivery fees.
No manual in the Corvette, though if the rumors about the Grand Sport are true, that will change (though again, that will likely start much higher than the Dark Horse and base C8).
You didn't even look at that sales chart, did you? Only twice in the 12 full years listed was January the lowest month for sales, and a couple times the worst sales months were in the summer.
I think we're all happy to see sales appear to pick up, but last year's 3% increase in sales came...
LOL! The last car I bought likely cost more than the DHSC MSRP+50K, and I paid for it in cash. You know how I got to that point? By not making dumb ass financial decisions like paying 50K over MSRP for a car.
While Iām personally not fond of either one of these colors, I still agree 100%. Thereās enough black, white, and gray on the roads as it isāgive the customer some bold color choices.
I still canāt believe Ford got rid of home link and lighted sill plates. š¤¦āāļø Not only are the sill plates not lighted, but theyāre just plain black plastic as well. They couldnāt even be bothered to include the nicer looking style.
