Correct. The GT versus EB ratio is much higher in export markets than it is in the US. Some exceptions with extremely high road taxes excluded like Belgium for example, where the annual road tax on a GT is $3000.
I find this extremely unlikely. Without a hybrid V8 Ford would give up the entire European market because they simply cannot afford the emissions penalties.
I have no doubt that there will be a convertible again. Was just surprised by their choice of words. Perhaps they will introduce the convertible a bit later, like they did with the S197.

The fangs in the GT grille have been a failure since 2015 imho. They are also what makes the facelift look so weird and the absence of them is why the Bullitt and the California Special look so much better.
It would be a first if they were to skip the 23 model year all together. With the current parts shortages and factory closings doing a shortened 23 model year run does kinda make sense.
