  1. Dark Horse poorly received??

I got one. I'm not disappointed. Is your buddy the final arbiter? Nope. I didn't pay $85K. I paid $68K. No need for incorrect rhetoric. EDIT: Boy can't handle facts, so he blocks/ignores. Boo hoo hoo.
  2. Dark Horse poorly received??

    Personal opinion is duly noted.
  3. Dark Horse vs Dark Horse Premium

So you can only "need" a Camry? GTFO. They need a car, they want DHHP. Focus. We are talking about options you WANT.
  4. OTA Update Issues

IIRC, it will download, but not apply it.
  5. Dark Horse vs Dark Horse Premium

Many people own a Mustang as their only vehicle. As such, it is most certainly a need.
  6. Dark Horse poorly received??

Opinions are like ... well ... we know what they are like. LOL. JK. To each thier own!
  7. Dark Horse poorly received??

If I wanted an effing ugly M2, I would have bought an effing ugly M2. But I didn't. Not sure why that is so hard for some to comprehend.
  8. Dark Horse poorly received??

The HP is only a significant improvement if you're going to use it. Otherwise, it doesn't offer any additional functionality. Would you buy a parachute if you never planned on getting on or jumping out of an airplane? Nope.
  9. Dark Horse poorly received??

Back in 2016, I was on my way, check in hand, to pick up a brand new CTS-V. I stopped at the Chevy dealership next door before making it to the Cadillac dealer. I bought the C7 Z06 that was sitting in the middle of the showroom instead. Life is short. Buy what your heart tells you!
  10. Dark Horse poorly received??

If a few thousand dollars determines which sports car a person will buy, perhaps that person isn't in the financial position to buy either one ... 😉
  11. Dark Horse vs Dark Horse Premium

There is a difference between a 'want' and a 'need', but many (most) folks don't understand the difference. Then those same people who 'needed' something like the HP complain when whey have to replace $2,000 worth of tires after a few thousand miles of daily driving. I say I don't need it...
  12. Dark Horse poorly received??

Meh. No offense to anyone else, but we do quite well. 😉 That said, I've saved (likely) close to six figures over the years thanks to AZ Plan, so I don't feel bad about paying MSRP once.
  13. Dark Horse Handling Package April 2024 Purgatory

You're not obligated to buy anything, nor are they obligated to sell it too you. Order the car and, if things change, don't take delivery. It's that simple. If you're working with a dealer who wants a non-refundable deposit on an order, then tell them to pound sand and go elsewhere. I've...
  14. Dark Horse poorly received??

I gave up AZ Plan on the GTPP to get the DH. That cost me about $11K.
  15. Dark Horse poorly received??

I had many Fox bodies, all manual and 5.0. Lost count of the number we converted from 4 cylinder autos to this. My 2012 was a manual 5.0, but I had to switch to an auto after a car/pedestrian assault cost me my left leg. So the '14 GT was a 5.0 auto. Loved that car ... shouldn't have sold it...
  16. Dark Horse poorly received??

The C&D article put the nicely equipped M2 @ $75K and some change.
  17. Dark Horse vs Dark Horse Premium

My body has always seemed to "fit". Not sure what your size or shape is - I'm 6-2" 220-ish pounds, 34 to 36" waist and wear a size 46 suit coat. The side bolsters above my waist level did feel a little infringing at first, but I think my body has (again) readapted to this, as that is how RECAROs...
  18. Dark Horse poorly received??

    2024 DH base price $62,180. 2024 M2 base price $63,200
  19. Dark Horse poorly received??

    All excellent points, @Skye.
  20. Dark Horse poorly received??

There is always more to come. But I'd rather enjoy my DH while waiting for the "what ifs" to materialize.
