I wouldn't say that convertibles WILL leak in a car wash, but I would say that they are more susceptible to leaking than a coupe.

But if the front fascia is too low to the ground, hooking to something underneath can result in the cable being at an angle that won't clear the fascia. You've never seen a low profile car have the front fascia damaged by a clown tow truck driver who doesn't know what he's doing? I have.

No, I meant the outer trim extends inward just a smidge to make it look like it's the edge of a screen protector. If it's a protective film, you should be able to remove it. If you can't remove it, it's not a screen protector.

Not a single person has posted a pic of this supposed "extra screen protector" being removed. As such, I don't think it's a thing. Mine didn't have one, but when I picked it up, it was already prepped. It only had the original protector with the writing on it.
