  1. Recent deliveries and holes

From the Maverick forums: VINView came online not long ago. It replaced another system. Available to Ford dealers: https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/new-vehicle-location-tracking-for-new-car-delivery-available-to-ford-dealers-via-vinview.22655/
  2. Dark Horse poorly received??

I think you're confusing inflation over the last ~3 years with over the last ~30 years. And we know who to blame for that.
  3. Recent deliveries and holes

I hear if you ask three times in a row, your answer will appear ... LOL ... J/K. That part does get tricky.
  4. 10R80 Question

Haven't tried it a 24 Mustang, but this was common in all cars for decades. There were detents in the shift pattern that only allowed it to go between drive and neutral, but not reverse. You had to either pull (on the column) or move the shifter one way or press a button to be able to get it...
  5. I haven't sold a car before, I'm about to sell my 2018, looking for advice.

Disagree. Avoid trade in at all costs. They simply look up and see how much they are going for at auction right now, then offer you less. Private party sale will ALWAYS net you more for your car (if that is of importance to you).
  6. Car Problem

The best laugh I ever got was when he told me his "built" Fox body Mustang would beat my '16 Corvette Z06 in a race ... with his Mustang in REVERSE !! :cwl: :cwl: :cwl:
  7. Car Problem

I've got a friend who likes to embellish a lot. Everybody who knows him takes what he says with multiple grains of salt.
  8. Dark Horse poorly received??

See my math above. It's accurate.
  9. Dark Horse poorly received??

A 1991 base GT 5.0 hatchback was ~$13K when I bought it new. That would be ~$30K in 2024 dollars. A 2024 Mustang GT Fastback starts at $41,960. That's right about a 40% increase. US average annual individual income in 1991 was $22,158. That's $49,638 in 2023 dollars (most recent available...
  10. Car Problem

Answers are not necessary. The math speaks for itself.
  11. Car Wash

I wouldn't remove that for a wash. If it's doing its job, it's keeping what's behind it relatively clean.
  12. Car Wash

Then I would most certainly be worried about regular undercarriage washes.
  13. Shipping the car

Fly out there and drive home. I know lots of buddies who have done this. Some dealerships will even send someone to the airport to pick you up! Last one I recall was a friend of mine from NYC who flew out to the Detroit area with his young son and they enjoyed the drive home in the new Camaro...
  14. Car Problem

Oh, me, too. I own four now. But to have owned 200 vehicles in that time period, you'd have to have bought or traded for a different vehicle every single month for ~16 years.
  15. Car Wash

Virginia is part of the 'salt belt'. Do they salt the roads in the winter in Virginia?
  16. Car value shock!!

And a sad testament to modern society.
  17. Car Problem

Are you saying you are 34 years old and have purchased more than 200 cars for personal use? Even if you started buying at 18, that means you've bought and driven a different vehicle every ~29 days. If you're saying you've been married for 34 years (assume married @ 20), that means you've...
