    There's a thread we've ID'd a bunch of these Easter eggs.
  2. Father meets son.

Oh, and I'd say it's more like Great-Great-Grandfather meets Great-Great-Grandson.
  3. HOW TO: Radar Detector Hard Wire Install with BlendMount

I use the Uniden R8 in my DH (Blendmount and wire tap) as well as the F150. I've been using that clunky coil cord in the truck because I've been lazy, but I recently got sick enough of it to add a wire tap to the rearview mirror in the truck. Mucho better!
  4. Father meets son.

Gotta change oils and filters, son.
  5. Rear defroster has already failed

At the automobile assembly plants, BIW (body in white) is where the frame and body have been put together, but before it's been painted and before the engine/trans, various chassis sub-assemblies, and all the trim (e.g., electronics, seats, glass, etc.) has been added to the vehicle. 12. What PSI pressure washer do you use if you have ceramic coating?

You're not getting something under $200 that is like an Active 2.0. Use bigger orifice nozzles for less PSI and more GPM.
  13. What PSI pressure washer do you use if you have ceramic coating?

I have an Active 2.0. Best value for the money for personal use, AFAIC. I did my homework, too, and @DFB5.0 was part of who/what influenced me as well.
  14. Break in period?

Lots of short drives means the engine doesn't fully reach operating temperature. When that happens, moisture that has built up inside the engine (while it was not running) doesn't get expelled (as steam). Oxidation and rust can result. A such, it's always good to make sure your engine heats...
  15. Break in period?

That was a thing back when cast iron was the predominant raw component of these parts and the process of machining rings and cylinder bores were far less accurate that today. Back then, rings required considerable time to wear in and better fit the bore. Because materials have changed and...
  16. Break in period?

Except it doesn't assure any such thing.
  17. Update 6.3.2 finally arrived 10/16/24

How'd you get your hands on an S650 back in 2014? I had just bought my S197!
  18. Break in period?

"Break in" really isn't needed. That used to be along the lines of "constantly change your RPM, your driving speed, yada yada." What's needed is to use common sense -- don't beat the crap out of it and run it to redline 4x an hour during the first ~1K miles and you'll be just fine. We have...
